Meadowlands: Pick 6 has a $25,000 guaranteed pool, $13,131 carryover on Saturday night

Meadowlands players interested in a possible windfall will be waiting impatiently for Saturday (Oct. 24) night's third race, as a two-day carryover in the 20-cent Pick-6 has led Big M management to put a sizeable guarantee on the pool.

On Friday night, a 24-1 shot kicked off the wager, and two races later, a 46-1 bomb fell on the mile oval. After 3-5 favorite Skyway Kon Man won the payoff leg, those holding tickets with five winners cashed in for $51.58, leaving a carryover of just over $13,000, which will at worst double for Saturday night's third race, since the pool will be guaranteed at $25,000.

The 20-cent Pick-6 is one of seven wagers at The Big M that offer a low 15 percent takeout.
