Trotting mares were in action in the third leg of the Miss Versatility Series on Saturday evening at the Meadowlands, and M-M's Dream cruised to a 1:51 triumph in the $40,000 event. Driven by David Miller, M-M's Dream went to the top from post six and hit the opening quarter in 27 3/5 but would yield the lead past that point to last year's Hambletonian Oaks champion Fashion Schooner (Tim Tetrick). Fashion Schooner would go on to click off a 55 4/5 half and a 1:23 3/5 three-quarters, but Miller fired M-M's Dream to the outside just beyond the latter marker. M-M's Dream blew by Fashion Schooner early in the stretch, and from there, M-M's Dream drew off to the finish line, winning by 6 1/4 lengths over Eternal Lee (Andy McCarthy). Dreamonhigh (Yannick Gingras) finished in third, followed by Warrawee Xenia (Brian Sears) and Fashion Schooner. ► Sign up for our FREE DRF Harness Digest Newsletter A 4-year-old Indiana-bred daughter of Swan For All, M-M's Dream is trained by Ron Burke for owners Eleven Star Stables, Frank Baldachino and Hillside Stables.
