Meadowlands: Horses to Watch from May 12 to May 13
SHE’S WATCHING felt a few taps of the stick to assume the pocket, was a handful as the pace was rated, pulled just before three quarters and rolled home as much the best in hand.
SIGNAL HILL (QUA) brushed to the front at the three-eighths, faced a stiff stretch challenge and refused to lose while very confidently handled.
BILL'S MAN (NW3) was sent to the rim rather conservatively and finished up very willingly. He's ready to win.
SWEETCHAP (NW1) lost any shot when shuffled back and finished up his mile willingly.
MOUNTAIN OF LOVE (NW2) was a credible fifth from an impossible spot behind a slow pace in his 2017 debut. High-priced yearling should be better next time if he lands in a decent spot.
MUSICAL RHYTHM (CUTLER) was off the gate, perhaps due to the break of a foe to his inside, was boxed until the stretch and finished up willingly with no shot.
