TEMPUS SEELSTER (NW3500) was bottled up behind a wall of horses in the stretch with no opportunity to stretch her legs.

ATABOY HANOVER (NW12000) took the conservative route coming off a layoff and got trapped until late; finished mildly.

MAYFAIR JOHNNY B (NW8600) came off the gate in good order but had to settle in when many others left better, moved fourth over, lost ground into the stretch and kicked in powerfully way too late.

BETTER BANGBANG (NW3500) was hopelessly trapped along the cones with no chance to let loose.

WINNING LINC (NW17500) tracked bad cover and rallied willingly in the lane behind a much-the-best winner.
