Meadowlands: Horses to watch for March 30-31, 2012

Friday, March 30

NITE GAMES (NW10000-FM) – Had early speed but was taken out by a tiring foe. She looked for room in the lane but had some traffic issues before locking wheels with a breaker and getting completely taken out.

CHANGE MAKER (10000CLM) – Faced all kinds of traffic and didn’t find room until deep stretch. She came home with good energy.

HOT SHOT BLUE CHIP (QUA) – Waited patiently in the pocket and edged past the leader while well in hand. He’ll qualifier again next week but seems to be in good shape as he preps for the Cutler Memorial during the first week of May.

FRIDAY AT FIVE (QUA) – Settled in last but finished up with some sneaky late pace. He is in-to-go at Pocono in the second race on April 6.

Saturday, March 31

A J CORBELLI (NW6600) – Pick up some confidence at this lower level and should be able to step up next week.

ARTS IDEAL HANOVER (SUMMER SURVIVOR) – Had to wait for room and finished up willingly. We might see more from him with that race under his belt.

A FORTUNES LEGACY (NW8000) – Was basically last at the head of the lane. She was finishing up steadily when a breaker blocked her path in the lane. She fits the bottom condition anywhere and could be interesting in the right spot.
