Meadowlands: Horses to Watch from March 16 to 18

HALLIE'S COMET (QUA) was reserved at the back, angled at three quarters and finished up willingly while basically on his own. Came back in his next qualifier and won rather easily.

PENPAL (QUA) found a seat fourth just before the quarter, pulled on the final turn and was never asked while content to be second. In a second qualifier, she charged home late. It is worth noting that she drew into a tough spot this week.

JIMMY WILLIAM (QUA) waited in third, angled midway on the final turn and took some time to hit high gear but ultimately edged clear under light urging. He seems ready for the lower level conditioned races.

CITY HALL (NW11500) was the only horse on the Saturday night card to be on the lead and hang on for a win.

INITTOWINAFORTUNE (QUA) waited in the pocket, angled when shuffled at the head of the lane and finished sharply for the win.
