Meadowlands: Horses to Watch for July 26-28, 2012

THURSDAY, JULY 26

IDEAL GINNY (2YO FILLIES) – Wasn’t exactly in a live flow and paced home in :26 2/5 with no shot.

THISTLE DHU (KINDERGARTEN) – Couldn’t find a seam while locked in the box and had to check mid-stretch. It seemed like she had some pace.

FRIDAY, JULY 27

ROCKNMYJEANS (2YO C&G) – Was content along the cones and never really asked for much. I wouldn’t discount his chances going forward off this effort.

DEXTER LAKE CLUB (HAUGHTON MEM.) – Was trapped behind foes while under a decent hold and never got a chance to stretch his legs.

ROCKIN BELLE (NW11250) – Had some traffic and paced with the pack willingly. She is eligible to srop down next week.

CAVEAT EMPTOR (HAUGHTON MEM.) – Was driven conservatively coming off a break and easily made it into the final without any trouble.

SATURDAY, JULY 28

ALEXIE MATTOSIE (NW16000) – Was hung three deep past the quarter and parked every step yet still paced home with some late energy. He’ll get to drop down next week and could come up big.

WHERETHEGIRLSARE (BABY) - Showed no signs of a breaking problem today; be cautious with her in a betting spot.

WAKE UP PETER (BABY) - Had some trouble with the turns but once the lane came he just flew home; look for one more tune-up here.
