Meadowlands: Horses to Watch from January 26 to 28
DASH OF DANGER (NW3) blew away his competition and should get a free ride in this class again.
JJ SHARK (NW5000) was away slowly and ultimately in an awful spot behind a tired foe. He finished up willingly when clear and could be tough in a weaker field.
CRAZY ABOUT PAT (QUA) was parked every step of the mile, grinded up slowly throughout and just kept coming in a confident win.
ODDS ON KEY WEST (QUA) pulled third over on the final turn and had some sneaky late pace.
QUALITY CLOSER (QUA) had to find room in the stretch, angled out then in and finished up very willingly.
UF FAST FEELIN (7500CLM-GNOTE) was forced wide for much of the final turn and flattened in the stretch. That effort was better and a good trip could land him a nice check.
LIGHTNING STRIKE (7500CLM-GNOTE) faced traffic and clearly had more in the tank as they crossed the wire.
NEVER EVER CLEVER (NW3500) put in her best mile in some time. She was parked every step and still rallied nicely late.
TRUE BLUE HALL (NW7600) finished up with some late pace and could be ready to win on the class drop next time.
