Meadowlands: Horses to Watch from February 2 to 4
ROLL WITH FRED (QUA) was sent to the front, accelerated in the latter half of the mile and was under a nice hold late.
AVA N ELLA (NW2/3) was a very impressive winner that looks ready to step up against better.
HOT SUMMER KNIGHT (NW5000) was trapped at the back, cleared just past three quarters and ralllied reasonably well considering it was his first start since mid-December. He should be ready for more and is in line for a class drop.
I C CAVIAR (NW11500) was game while first-over and despite finishing second will get more class relief next week.
DETROIT RAPPER (NW3500) rallied nicely from a tough spot in the first signs that he is returning to form.
MISSILE J (NW11600) has tapped into his potential for new trainer Scott Di Domenico and seems ready to tackle almost any horse currently racing.
SO TAKE THAT (15000-20000 CLM HCP) appeared to be racing the entire mile with a broken headpole yet wasn't charted with any broken equipment. The veteran was clearly hard to steer and could be interesting at a price next time with the dull line in place.
DR C'S Z TAM (15000-20000 CLM HCP) was stacked up fifth over and gained mildly late with no shot.
