CHAMPIONSHIP MEET STATS: 100 - 282 / $540.30

Best Bet: SARANDON BLUE CHIP (5th) Spot Play: BIGRISK (2nd)

Race 1

(3) AUTHORIZE doesn’t thrill me but looks like the one to beat if she can pace the mile. (6) NOMINAL HANOVER drops out of NJSS action and should show more. (8) TRUE REFELECTION has good speed and a driver that does his best work up front.

Race 2

(1) BIGRISK picked up his game last time and should offer value with good thing (6) CAPTAINTREACHEROUS coming off some sizzling qualifiers. (4) ODDS ON EQUULEUS has been closing well from outside posts. (1A) TERESAS BEACH has displayed some talent in the AM.

Race 3

(4) NIKKI BEACH posted a professional debut and should be tough tonight. (7) IDEAL GINNY is a full sister to a pair of $560k-plus mares. Mom has produced four sub-1:51 foals in her nine tries. (6) IDEAL A LITTLE was better in her second trip to the track.

Race 4

(6) QUIT SMOKING NOW finds himself in pretty cheap this week; perfect spot. (4) TALBOTCREEK JEWELY seems to have her breaking issues under control; early speed. (7) POWER PLAY could win, but it is hard to love this guy on top.

Race 5

(6) SARANDON BLUE CHIP has two big wins here. Filly is far from perfect but she seems a step faster than these. (4) ODDS ON JAN gets a big test tonight. She is coming off a solid mile. (3) MIKELEH is clearly sharp enough to get a good piece; hope for a trip. (8) ROCKIN BELLE has plenty of speed. Maybe Sears being back in the bike will help.

Race 6

(6) BILLIE BLUECHIP flashed pace at both ends of the mile last week and does draw a bit better tonight. (2) ODDS ON AVENTURE gets a big chunk every week; dangerous. (9) RUB THING won when last seen here at this level. (3) MYLUVMYLIFE steps up off a win; ready to get on a roll?

Race 7

(5) SEA RAVEN gets some needed class relief. Mare should be right there at the wire. (6) ELLENS ISLE can fly when she feels like it; tough call. (8) MARCUS BI may have needed the start last week. He is capable of stepping up. (2) TEXAS RIDGE is a big question mark. I wouldn’t be shocked if he won.

Race 8

(8) PRINCESS MCARDLE N plunges down the class ladder and should perk up. (7) SOUTHWIND TRINI has been in some tough spots lately; this is easier. (2) DE VINS GIRL is in pretty good form; use.

Race 9

(10) AISLING has a way of waking up when provided with class relief. (2) IN FOCUS is always a threat; can’t trust or toss. (8) BANK PRESIDENT has plenty of early speed.

Race 10

(8) NOTHING BUT CLASS has some breaking issues but does look to be the fastest in this group. (9) SASSY SYRINX is in a tougher spot this week. (3) ANOTHER AMARETTO is another with a risk/reward issue because of breaking problems.

Race 11

(5) AUDREY JANE appears to be fast enough to compete and the switch to Tetrick is a nice plus. In a race without much form, I’ll roll the dice here. (7) HOT LIPS moves in a couple of slots after a long trip from post nine. She has as good a chance as any. (4) CHANGE MAKER would be interesting if Gingras left with her.
