SPOT PLAY: CELEBRITY BAMBINO (3rd)
Race 1: Kindergarten 2YO Filly Trot - Pick 5
(1) INSTAGRAM MODEL beat a much better field two back in the Doherty and cruised to a nice tightening win last time versus a soft group at Vernon. She looks like a legitimate single. (7) GRAND FASHION looks good on paper if you ignore the break two starts back. Improving filly has a shot if the top one falters. (4) THE EMPRESS ICE rallied for fourth from an impossible spot at Pocono upon debut. She can certainly show more here.

Race 2: Kindergarten 2YO Filly Pace - Survivor 7
(6) LISA LANE was never put in play in her last start and while the four-week break in action is curious, I'm sure Ryder will have her ready. Lazarus filly has out-raced her odds in most starts. (3) ROMANTIC EVENING comes off a career-best mile and if she can reproduce that effort she'll have a say here. (5) FALANA HANOVER is another coming off a win. Her previous tries here were against better foes.

Race 3: Kindergarten 2YO Colt Trot
(4) CELEBRITY BAMBINO returns to the races after missing some time with an ailment. This guy is the real deal from what I've seen and I expect him to come out strong despite the missed time. (3) SOME KINDA CRAZY certainly lives up to his name on the track. If he behaves he'll be involved. (10) TE AMO LINDY lost to the Wellwood winner last time out and he has the early speed to get in play despite the bad post.
Race 4: Kindergarten 2YO Filly Pace - Pick 6
(2) CHARLESTON has done very little wrong in her four career starts and maybe she isn't as far behind (5) UCANDOIT BLUE CHIP as she'll be on the tote board. The latter is on a four-race win streak and has looked good doing it. She'll take plenty of beating. (6) GAME TO GO comes off a wake-up mile in Lexington and perhaps the Norman trainee can carry that form east.
Race 5: Kindergarten 2YO Filly Trot
(8) BUBZARELLIE hasn't been great but does find the easiest spot she has seen this year. Yannick seems likely to be on the move at the start. (10) A GOOD CHARDONNAY is another with a high likelihood of leaving hard who also seems to be in a somewhat softer spot. (5) QUICK STOP has been right there in every start and is an obvious threat. (9) PURE HOPE S needs to prove she is fast enough. If so, she's a player here.
Race 6: Kindergarten 2YO Colt Pace - Pick 4
(3) BLUE HUNT couldn't quite cut it first-over in one of the fastest 2-year-old miles of the year when last here. This is an easier spot and Tetrick sticks over (5) MAC’S DELIGHT, who steps up after two consecutive victories out of town. (2) DOWNRIGHTDELICIOUS has been losing to a killer out in Ohio that already owns a 1:51 2/5 win on the half at Northfield. It will be interesting to see how he does in what looks like a reasonably talented field.
Race 7: Kindergarten 2YO Colt Trot
(9) UP YOUR DEO lost his last Kindergarten race as the 1-9 favorite but who knew at that time it would end up being to future Wellwood winner Winner's Bet. Walner colt has ability and the needed early speed to make the front if Ake chooses that path. (7) PURPLE LORD already has a win and a second in this series; clear contender. (6) THE GRUFFALO has done very good work in NY on the Sire Stakes scene and gets a true test here. Is he up to it?

Race 8: Kindergarten 2YO Colt Pace
(7) DUVAL STREET has looked very good over in New York and picked up a win in his lone start on a bigger track. (3) FULL SUPPORT has been on a good run versus easier. This is a good test here versus #7. (1) JOHNNY SACK can flash big speed from the inside but has yet to pick up a win in seven starts, which is concerning.
Race 9: Non-winners $3,000 (NW L3 $3,550) in last 5
(4) AIR GUITAR returns here at a reduced level for a Gingras/Ford team that tends to perform well together. (3) IM A POWERPLAY A has done good work over this track versus better in the past and this is a big driver change to Tetrick. (5) STRAIGHT TALK was also facing better when last at the Big M. Four-year-old can fire to the top in this spot. (6) LUCID DREAMS gets a huge driver change to Dunn. (2) BARRAGE HANOVER hasn't been bad in two starts since a year on the sidelines. He could certainly show more in start three.
