RACE 1: Trackmaster 68 (NW L4 69) or less - Pick 5

(4) DISCO DANCER has done his best work in this class from inside posts and he lands one this week; should offer value. (1) REVOLVER N’s amateur races look ok and this is only his fourth start of the year, so improvement is possible. Also notice the 1:50 2/5 win here in 2025 and driver change to Beckwith, who was actually listed on the #6 originally. (6) SOCIAL THEORIES and (10) SPIRIT OF TRUTH both own a win and a second in their last two tries in this TM68 condition.

Race 2: Non-winners $2,500 (NW L2 $3,000) in last 5/TM 77.5 (NW L2 79.5) or less

(1) ROCK MY UNIVERSE is a risk to break but he’s the best in this field if he behaves. As long as you don’t have to take under 5-2 I’d be on board. (3) KINGPIN HANOVER picks up the top driver and is getting some class relief. (5) WALKWHILEYOURTALKIN returns here at a reduced level and I get the feeling he’ll be sent to the front. I don’t know much about the driver but he’s been in a few races in the U.S. recently.

Race 3: Trackmaster 68 (NW 2L4/1 race since 1-15 69.15/69.87) or less

(2) LOVELY LADY MAY was awful last time but had missed 28 days between starts, something that is common in this class. New driver this week should be hustling away from the gate. (3) BELL OF LAZARUS turned in her best mile of the year in start number four and perhaps she’s ready to awaken with a big performance. (4) PRINCESS AMERICA and (6) WOODMERE LEAH both seem capable given the right trip.

Race 4: Trackmaster 71 (NW L2 73) or less/Opt. $7,500 Clm. - Pick 6

(1) LOVE THIS BAR and (3) PARODY both drop out of the same race into this softer spot. I lean to the inside horse because he’s had a much better year and has won in a higher class. Last time he sat along the pylons and wasn’t given much of a chance. The latter also gets post relief and keeps Herschberger, who was listed on both horses. (8) SOUTHERN PATRICIA arrives from Philly with decent form and could be involved with Beckwith taking over the lines.

Race 5: Trackmaster 77.5 (NW L2 79.5) or less/Opt. $12,500 Clm.

(5) DANCING LEW finds the easiest spot he has seen in some time and I expect he’ll be kept closer to the front. (4) XPERT did a good job climbing the TM ladder but hasn’t had success at this level at quick glance. Digging deeper, he caught a tough foe in his first attempt and was used too hard more recently. He does fit! (9) GAITWAY PATRIOT gets class relief but has to figure out the trip from the tough outside post. (1) WHAMMER JAMMER moves back inside. Does Slendorn gun out?

Race 6: Trackmaster 80.5 (NW L2 82.5) or less - Pick 4

(6) JUDDY DOUGLAS A took the Dunn money last week and things didn’t work out as planned. Ryder is back now and that means a better price. Veteran pacer has been close to victory week after week. (3) CAVEMAN A is another horse with plenty of good efforts in this class and no wins. This does look like a good spot. (4) GALANTE A wasn’t up for a second class jump last time. He fits nicely in here and figures to show some early speed.

Race 7: Trackmaster 83.5 (NW L2 85.5) or less

(1) OUR SWEET DELIGHT A hasn’t shown much in two starts on these shores. That said, he was facing a number of foes that would be 3-5 in this spot. Five-year-old’s time is coming soon. (3) AMERICAN SON is a talented horse that can’t seem to get on a roll. He qualified back nicely but got caught in a 1:49 1/5 mile last week; fits here. (4) EUPHORIA N has been steady in his last two tries in this class and is off a confidence-building win in his last start.

Race 8: Trackmaster 74.5 (NW L2 76.5) or less/Opt. $10,000 Clm. - Survivor 7

(10) GO LONG can be a tricky horse so the barn change could be an issue, though this trainer has done well with trotters. This field appears to have plenty of early speed types and that will play right into this guy’s hands at very fair odds. (3) TACHYON took a ton of money and went the aggressive route last time. I see more patient handling and better results here. (2) JAKEY JUMPUP handled the bump in company last time and you have to like his current form.

Race 9: Trackmaster 71 (NW L2 73) or less/Opt. $7,500 Clm.

(8) FRAZIER HANOVER gets a key driver change to Beckwith after a long run with the trainer in the bike. This barn was a sluggish 11-0-1-0 in July here but showed some signs of life with two seconds in four starts last weekend. (3) SELECT FRIDAY dropped to this class last time and finished with a 26 4/5 final quarter for third place. This seems like his comfort zone. (1) MIDNIGHT LIGHTNING just missed for second at 4-5 in his last try in the TM1 class.

Race 10: Trackmaster 71 (NW L2 73.2) or less - Pick 4

(5) LYONS I WANNA CHIP moves into the Engblom barn and lands Beckwith in the bike. If Engblom has her ready following a 33-day break, she’s going to win. (2) SPROUT moves back to the inside of the gate and that should result in an improved finishing position. (8) ROCKNROLL CAROLINE came here last weekend and raced well to be third. The price may be right with a new driver in the sulky.

Race 11: Trackmaster 74.5 (NW L2 76.5) or less

(4) IMAPRICELESSPRINCE apparently does have a price as he was sold online to these new connections on July 21 for $24,100. Three-year-old lands in a great spot to score at first asking. (5) ADVANCE MAN has done good work in amateur races here from time to time and now gets the top driver. He’s worth a look. (9) FREDNECK gets a new driver who may get aggressive with little clear early speed signed on to his inside.

Race 12: Trackmaster 68 (NW 2L4/1 race since 1-15 69.15/69.87) or less - $3 Pick 3

(4) HELEN BACK AGAIN has a fairly good record in this class, early speed to gain valuable position and figures to offer a fair price. (5) LYONS TRINA is another new arrival to the Engblom barn and no one would be surprised if she won at short odds. (8) COUNTRY DACING drops and has early speed but I prefer her underneath. (7) KIT KAK is also stepping down the Trackmaster class ladder and she’ll offer a great price on the board.

Race 13: Non-winners $5,000 (NW L2 $5,630) in last 5/TM 80.5 (NW 2L4 82.55) or less - $5 Late Double

(2) AMIRA HANOVER seems to be moving in the right direction now after the break in early July. I’ll give her the narrow call in a race with multiple potential winners. (4) SHEZ THE REASON A drops down for the team of Smith/Garland and deserves respect. (6) TURN UP THE MUSIC is the stablemate of the top pick. She’s missed some time but qualified well versus Open pacer Captain Albano.

Race 14: Trackmaster 68 (NW L4 69) or less

This is the absolute bottom condition with a field that owns only one win in 163 starts this year. That victory belongs to (4) HUNGRY FOR PROFITS and makes him the horse to beat. His last three starts in this class have produced three on-the-board finishes. (10) BOURBONS COURAGE could be firing to the top and it might not be that difficult to gain that position. (5) THE OPENER was scratched-sick last time but did race well back on July 9.
