FALL MEET STATS: 154-49-26-24 / $347.80 (+$39.80) BEST BETS: 11-5-1-2 / $14.40 (-$7.60) SPOT PLAYS: 11-5-1-2 / $30.60 (+$8.60) BEST BET: EA MUSHU (1st) SPOT PLAY: FARKLE (5th) Race 1: Trackmaster 68 (NW L2 70.49) or less/NW 1 3YO Fillies - Pick 5 (8) EA MUSHU comes off some scary lines but notice that she has improved in each of her last three starts. Highest earning horse in the field knows when she’s in cheap and tends to perk up. (2) SACAGAWEA has some Monticello form and gets a nice driver change. (5) CUTTING HUMOR hasn’t done much with the trainer in the bike but did race reasonably well with a catch driver two starts back. [DRF HARNESS: Get Harness Eye PPs for this card] Race 2: $7,500-$10,000 Claiming Handicap - Survivor 7 (7) LYONS LIBERTY, like many of these, returns on short rest having raced on Saturday. He’s won versus much better in 2025 and gets a improved post to start from tonight. (5) LOORRIM LAKE A beat most of these horses last week in this class. (6) BARON MICHAEL is a veteran who seems to have found his form in recent weeks. Race 3: Exit 16W Series for 2&3YO Fillies who are NW $20,000 life (2) TWIN B CARDI B picked up her game nicely and finished willingly in her second qualifier. In a field full of horses who don’t seem to want to win, the newcomer certainly looks worthwhile. (5) HOUSE BLEND came up just short as the pick last week and she certainly has a shot again. (7) CRUNCHALOUS has been great at finishing second and third but hasn’t been able to seal the deal in 12 career starts. Race 4: Exit 16W Series for Winners of 2-4 (NW L2 or 3YO 5) races or $50,000 (NW L2 or 3YO $60,000) life - $7,950 Pick 6 Carryover (3) BLESS ME FATHER owns a spectacular record up north and now ships into a new barn. It is a bit of an unknown how much time he’ll drop moving to the big track and the four weeks of inaction is a minor concern, but there could be enough talent here and the price should be reasonable. (5) CAMERA MAN has a 1:51 2/5 win in the NJ Classic to his credit and that’s faster than any of these have seen in their lives; recent form is shaky. (4) HERECOMESDAJUDGE has been facing better company and certainly should race well against this group. Race 5: Exit 16W Series for 2&3YO C&G who are NW $20,000 (NW L4 $24K) life (7) FARKLE is a 3-year-old facing mostly younger horses and that’s a big advantage. Gelding has proven early speed and should be firing off the gate. (1) CAPTIVATED was purchased online for just over $20K and now makes his first start for new connections. Can they get this guy going? (3) CRUNCH A BUNCH missed a neck to the top pick a few starts back at Vernon. (5) CATTLE DRIVE is worth some consideration on the trainer change to Ron Burke. Race 6: Meadowlands Amateur Drivers Club Trot - Pick 4 (6) CHIPLOSIVE is way down in class and really should be able to take these to task. (3) VELOCIRAPTOR has been a steady performer all year and seems to fit nicely in these amateur races. (8) BACARDI is another one dropping in company and his 1:54 2/5 win this year is one of the fastest in the field. (1) HUNTERS GAL is off a win. Race 7: Exit 16W Series for 2&3YO C&G who are NW $20,000 (NW L4 $24K) life (3) LASTDRIVEDOWNMAIN has the tall task of taking on older horses with just two starts under his belt. That said, he was really good in both of those miles and seems to have some ability. (5) DOCTOR ARROGANTO comes off his first career win and it was a solid effort. Does he pick up his game on the big track? (6) DISMAS was super in his debut for this barn but has gone dull since; wakes up? [DRF HARNESS: Sign up for our FREE DRF Harness Digest Newsletter] Race 8: Trackmaster 74.5 (NW L2 76.5) or less/NW $2,500 (NW L2 $2,700) in last 5/TM 77.5 (NW L2 79.5) draw outside (10) eyes of JUSTICE scored at first asking for new connections and now switches venues. He’s already proven capable on a big track and has the early speed to overcome the poor draw. (2) IN SECRET is a veteran that has found his form again after missing most of 2024. He’s a win away from becoming a career millionaire. (3) BANK BOX TREASURE is certainly sharp and if this race goes on the slow side he can certainly make some noise. Race 9: Trackmaster 68 (NW L2 70.06) or less This field is a combined 8 for 188 in 2025, so good luck finding a winner here. (1) PACK YOUR BAGS owns almost half of those wins and he has a reasonable chance to be sitting no worse than second in this spot. (4) MY WISH CAME TRUE could take a shot and fly off the gate. (9) SOMESURFSOMEWHERE showed a bit of late life last time.
