Race 1 - NW5000L5/TrackMaster Rating 80 or Less as of 4-12-22 Pace

(4) BAYFIELD BEACH hooks up with the softest group he has in a while tonight and has Gingras to drive for a second time. (2) STRAIGHT TALK drops out of the NW7500L5's and has been finishing his miles up well. He also has an inside post for a change. (6) SO TAKE THAT also has a better draw here than he has in his last pair and gets a shot with Dexter Dunn.

Race 2 - NW3000L5/TrackMaster Rating 77.5 as of 4-12-22 Pace

(6) THE COOKIE MONSTER was third in his comeback over at Harrah's Philadelphia on 4-10, and trainer Scott Di Domenico sent out plenty of live horses at Yonkers this week after returning from suspension. (3) D M JOHNWICK picked up some spots in the last half of his mile in the GSY Series on March 8 and now switches to George Brennan for the normally potent Nik Drennan barn. (4) NOME HANOVER came to life with an improved effort last Saturday. He wasn't Tim Tetrick's choice, as he stuck with my top pick, but gets a solid replacement in Todd McCarthy.

Race 3 - NW2 Ext. PM Races or 20000LT/Maidens Drawn Inside Pace

(1) ENERGETIC HANOVER should be ready to win here in his third career start. I thought that was a tougher field he faced last Friday than the one he races tonight also. (3) REMEMBER THE BEACH went a long ways uncovered in the same race my top pick comes out of before fading in the stretch. That was a positive sign, and he adds Dunn tonight. (10) MAKE MY DEO has hit the board in both of his starts so far in 2022 and kept David Miller over others.

Race 4 - NW7500L5/TrackMaster Rating 84.65 or Less as of 4-12-22 Pace

(6) TOOKADIVEOFFDIPPER qualified back fine against better horses last Saturday and returns in a soft spot considering the types he was facing at Yonkers before he went to the bench. (4) BOILER MAKER won in the corresponding class to this one on 4-7 at Harrah's Philadelphia and is owned and was bred by driver Tim Tetrick. (8) STONEDUST doesn't do much winning, but he often threatens when he gets to race at this type of level.

Race 5 - NW10500L5/TrackMaster Rating 87 or Less as of 4-12-22 Pace

(9) ARTIE'S IDEAL finished third to No Lou Zing at Yonkers on 3-29 and third to Ana Afreet N a week ago here at the Meadowlands. Both of those horses would be 1-9 in this race, so that makes him the one to go with, I think. (7) CHASER HANOVER drops out of the NW14000L5's and was victorious the last time he raced at this level. (6) BANK SEA is very sharp right now, and I like that owner/trainer Juan Cano is showing confidence in him by moving him out of claiming company.

Race 6 - Open/NW20000L5 or NW $1 L2 Starts or NW9 Ext. PM Races LT Drawn Inside Trot *$50,000 Guaranteed Pick 4 Pool*

(7) BIG OIL returns from Pocono tonight. He's been racing well in what is basically their Open class, and I think he should be on or near the lead. (8) CHIN CHIN HALL exploded late once he shook free a week ago, but I could see him coming from last tonight given the outside post, and I'll put him second. (1) YANKS DUGOUT gets reunited with Gingras here, which likely means a return to aggressive tactics. I wouldn't be surprised to see him following my top choice in the two-hole.

Race 7 - Winners of 5 But Not More Than 7 Extended PM Races LT/NW5 Ext. PM Races LT Drawn Inside Pace

(9) CAVIART LOTUS faced Open types at Hoosier in his first start of 2022 on April 1. I think he should enjoy racing this type of company instead, and he was Tetrick's choice of a few in here. (6) BETTERROCK dominated NW6's in a quick mile at Yonkers last time out and was the one of the two Jenn Bongiorno trainees that Joe Bongiorno will steer. (4) LINNYCALLEDFRANKIE couldn't find room in the lane when he needed to last Saturday. He gets reunited with Scott Zeron tonight.

Race 8 - Hello Spring Series Final Pace

(2) ALTA ENGEN A scored his first win in the U.S. last Saturday. I was a little surprised that Brennan chose off this one for another Drennan horse, but I'll stick with him. (4) ALLUNEEDISFAITH N was Brennan's choice, and he did beat a heavy favorite with a strong close from the pocket a week ago. (9) I'LL DRINK TO THAT didn't have a visible excuse when run down by Alluneedisfaith N last week, but he did romp in this series on March 26, and it's hard to overlook the Dexter Dunn/Chris Ryder combo.

Race 9 - NW16500L5/Winners Base Class NW7500 or Less in 1 of L5 Starts/4YO NW1500 in 2022 Pace

(2) ONE EIGHT HUNDRED faces mainly older foes tonight, but he has been impressive from off-the-pace in both of his starts so far in 2022 and kept Dexter Dunn over a couple of others. (6) BRAEVIEW BONDI A has competed in two legs of the MGM Borgata Pacing Series and against NW30000L5's at Yonkers in his last three outings, so this looks like a much more reasonable spot than that. (1) IGNATIUS A has looked like a pretty serious horse so far in his U.S. starts, but sometimes closers can get tripped up by drawing post one.

Race 10 - Open/NW21000L5 Drawn Inside Pace *$50,000 Guaranteed Pick 4 Pool*

(4) WORKIN ONA MYSTERY jogged in the Open down at Dover on March 31 and his qualifiers at the Meadowlands prior to that were outstanding. (5) BACKSTREET SHADOW qualified back nicely last Saturday and is now being driven by Gingras. He won in the Preferred at the Meadowlands back in January. (1) SONNY WEAVER N picked up checks in all of his MGM Borgata Pacing Series attempts and returns to the Meadowlands tonight.

Race 11 - 20000-24000CLM HCP Pace

(4) DARTH FADER kicked home in 26 and change last Saturday in an improved effort and now gets Dunn in the bike. (8) GAME OF CHANGE owns a second and a win in his last two outings and was claimed by Chuck Crissman Jr. a week ago. Tetrick drives. (9) WINDSONG JACK has been burning some money lately outside of that victory on March 26. I'd expect Joe Bongiorno to blast him from the outside.

Race 12 - F&M NW14000L5 or in 2022/TrackMaster Rating 87 or Less as of 4-12-22/NW8 Ext. PM Races LT Pace

(4) BEYOND WORDS N is one of several droppers in here who are exiting what was basically the Mares Open pace last Saturday. She should offer the best price of them, and I'll give her a try. (7) ANNABELLE HANOVER was the runner-up in the same race my top pick exits. Notice she has five second-place finishes this year and no wins. (5) BETTORS HEART N rallied in that common race with Beyond Words N and Annabelle Hanover and kept Andy McCarthy in the bike.

Race 13 - NW10500L5/TrackMaster Rating 85.75 or Less as of 4-12-22/NW7500L5 Starts That Raced Less Than NW12000 Last Start Drawn Inside Trot

(8) ARABELLA'S CADET should continue to offer value, and she drops off a gaining fourth-place finish against NW14000L5's last Saturday. (9) MEMO has a win and a second since coming into Jenny Melander's barn and has a good history at the Meadowlands overall. (3) NO DRAMA PLEASE was second to Memo a week ago and gained after angling off the cones. He has a post advantage on that foe tonight and was Tetrick's pick.
