WINTER MEET STATS: 211-47-33-31 / $350.20 (-$71.80) BEST BETS: 15-7-3-1 / $26.00 (-$4.00) SPOT PLAYS: 14-5-2-4 / $47.00 (+$19.00) BEST BET: ARTIST BEST (5th) SPOT PLAY: BETTORSEETHESHOW (14th) Race 1: Trackmaster 68 (NW L4 69) or less - Pick 5 (1) DANCNINMYSOCKS gets post relief and a new driver. Normally that wouldn’t be enough but it could help in this blank group. (2) PACK YOUR BAGS is back in a TM 68 where he was second a few starts back. Gelding should find early speed and be a major factor in a very weak field. (4) CHEESE OMELET dropped to this condition and was third last time. [DRF HARNESS: Get Harness Eye PPs for this card] Race 2: Trackmaster 83.5 (NW L2 85.6) or less (6) HURRIKANE CHEYENNE blew away the competition in his second start for this barn and as this is somewhat of a TM80-83 split on paper, he should fit nicely. (1) DANCE PARTNER is right there week after week lately; win threat. (3) QUALITY BUD is facing substantially softer foes this week. He can get a piece of this but will really need to turn back the clock for a win chance. Race 3: Meadowlands Amateur Drivers Club 2 Pace - $1 Pick 8 (4) LOUIS LITT N has just missed in consecutive weeks. Tonight he gets a slightly better post and perhaps can sit a pocket trip and pounce. (6) THAT DOG WILL HUNT never seems to find the winner’s circle but is always a looming threat to do so. (1) BORN TO DANCE is probably in a bit tougher but has the form to be involved. Race 4: Non-winners 2 (NW L2 3) races or $20,500 (NW L2 $30,000) life/Maidens draw inside (7) SNEAKY SQUEAKY returned from a long time on the sidelines with Lasix added and was razor sharp to win his qualifier. Bongiorno trainee looks ready to roll. (3) JUMPIN’ JACK DEO has been brought along slowly with four qualifiers and last time he was locked in the pocket. The jury is still out on how good he is but the value could be there this week. (4) THISBEESTINGS DEO couldn’t touch the top pick in their qualifier but can certainly improve. Race 5: $10,000-$12,500 Claiming Handicap (4) ARTIST BEST was making a strong wide rally from the back when he got spooked by #9 in this field when that one made a break on the final turn. Eight-year-old is sharp right now but that form is somewhat hidden. (1) FREDNECK has been better each of the last two weeks and the move inside should improve his chances. (8) BIG JACK HAMMER should be firing to the front as usual and with that get a nice piece of the exotics. Race 6: Trackmaster 80.5 (NW L2 82.75) or less - $50K GTD Pick 4 (4) BB LUCKY BOY doesn’t find much early speed to his outside and that could set him up nicely to do his thing on the engine and perhaps not look back. It is worth noting that Colin Kelly elected to drive #9. (1) ROCKIN THE ACES and (3) ALWAYS B GIBBY should be sitting close to the action and if either horse is having a good night or if the top pick fails to show up, they can win. Race 7: $20,000-$25,000 Claiming Handicap (7) WATER SPORTS TEEN is freaky fast and back in for a cheaper claiming price. If he minds his manners he’ll take this field a long way, perhaps all the way to the winner’s circle. (6) GALLIE GETAWAY rolled versus a good amateur field last time; fits with these. (4) ROCKME ROLLME has been racing well for some time and only needs a decent trip. Race 8: Non-winners $5,000 (NW L2 $5,500) in last 5 - Pick 6 (2) SOLID CHARACTER was sitting a good trip in the pocket when that foe started to stop and eventually broke into him. Making his second start back and dropping in class, you have to think he’ll be taking charge. (4) IGNATIUS A was a victim of a slow pace last time; clear threat. (7) DON’T DROP THE BALL has been consistently getting good checks in this class; using underneath. Race 9: Non-winners $10,500 (NW L2 $12,500) in last 5 or 8 (NW L2 9) races life/TM 86.09 (NW L2 90) or less (2) FOR ONCE INMY LIFE beat up on lesser a week ago but really doesn’t catch the best group here. More importantly, he has early speed in his arsenal and this field seems to lack an abundance of that quality. (5) RYDINGTOTHEWIRE has gone some big miles and also caught a bad trip or two. He’s certainly a threat here. (6) T H TYSON is one of the possible early speedsters. Maybe Ryder will take a shot. Race 10: $40,000-$60,000 Claiming Handicap - $50K GTD Pick 4 (6) BETTORS DONTTELL just missed last time versus (7) TYPHOON BANNER N on the drop into claimers and now he gets the better of the draw. He gets the narrow call over the latter, who is searching for his third straight win and won’t go down without a fight. (4) SOHO SANTORINI A puts in a fairly honest effort every week and should get into the number at the least. Race 11: Non-winners $7,500 (NW L2 $8,250) in last 5 (4) MASTER CHARLES A has been racing great but has no wins to show for it in 2026. He should be heading to the top here and wind up sitting no worse than a pocket trip. (6) SOHO SPECTRE A has been tackling some good competition at Pocono. He’s worth a look here if the price is right. (1) DANCE IT OUT steps up in fine form; needs the right trip. Race 12: Winners 2-4 (NW L2 6) races or $50,500 (NW L2 $60,000) life (5) CONFEDERATESTAR N took a clear step in the right direction with a strong stretch rally in his second start on these shores. I get the feeling a big mile is coming soon. (7) LASER SPEED was used making two moves to the front and held his ground well in defeat; threat again. (8) MONEYHILL GB made a sustained move to the top before giving way to the former. He’s clearly good enough to win given a smoother journey. [DRF HARNESS: Sign up for our FREE DRF Harness Digest Newsletter] Race 13: Trackmaster 74.5 (NW L2 76.5) or less (1) GALANTE A rallied from an absolutely impossible spot last time to be third. He’ll be a lot closer to the action this week. (8) RILKOFF tucked and brushed last week in a good effort; he’s a Pick 4 must-use. (2) OOGLESAURUS rated soft fractions, was asked for speed early stretch and shut down late in a nice qualifying effort. He could be a serious contender if ready to roll. Race 14: Trackmaster 71 (NW L2 73) or less (5) BETTORSEETHESHOW didn’t perk up with Lasix added but sometimes it takes a start for it to work. He lands in a softer spot coming back to The Meadowlands and looks like a very interesting play at what should be fair odds. (1) WARRAWEE XCEED went a long mile last time. New driver and better post can produce better results. (7) DIRT ON MY BOOTS comes off a bad effort but it was following a seven-week break in action. This barn has been hot and a better performance isn’t impossible to expect.
