(9) BORNINLOCKDOWN GB gapped on the last turn last Saturday but then roared by them all in the lane, including past my top pick. That was his U.S. debut, so he's liable to be sharper here. (1) JK STEVES SPIRIT drew the pole position and is making his second career appearance for a top barn. Race 2 - 10000CLM Pace (3) SHORE OF HIMSELF missed a scheduled start last Saturday but was racing at higher claiming levels both here and out of town prior to that and adds Lasix. (2) SAILOR'S SHADOW had good fortune to get into this race off the also-eligible list and looks like he's been facing better horses. (6) TREY ROCKETTE drops out of the $15,000 claimers off a check-getting performance and switches drivers to Jim Marohn Jr. Race 3 - TrackMaster Rating 80.5 or Less as of 2-18-25 Pace (7) CAPTAIN MARVEL defeated NW2's at the Meadowlands back on 1-18 and looks like he's been facing much tougher company in two outings since then. (1) DANCE IT OUT overcame some interference to get fourth at this level a week ago and moves in from the seven-hole to post one. (5) SAVE ME A DANCE has finished with pace in three of his last five starts and has post relief here after two straight nine-holes. Race 4 - TrackMaster Rating 83.5 or Less as of 2-18-25 Pace (1) SWIFTY RUN was scratched due to the weather last week but has performed well in this class before, and I can overlook his poor outing on 2-1 as it was from a bad post and against tougher horses. (5) CAPTAIN UP qualified back nicely over the oval and debuts for Joe Bongiorno. (7) ARDEN MESSI N steps up a level but is razor-sharp and scored handily over TrackMaster 80.5 or Less competition last Saturday. Race 5 - NW5000L4 Pace (4) ALWAYS ROCKIN drops out of tougher spots both at the Meadowlands and over at Yonkers and was second against TrackMaster 83 or Less rivals the last time he was at The Big M back on 1-11. (3) SPORTY M THREE closed well for a third-place finish against NW7500L4 company last Saturday night and slides down a notch on the ladder here. (5) OAKWOOD PADDY IR hasn't hit the board in four outings thus far in 2025 but is getting class and post relief for a barn that often sends out live horses. Race 6 - NW12500L4 / NW17500L4 Draw Outside Trot ***$50,000 GTD Pick 4 Pool*** (5) THE HAZELTON gained some ground in the final quarter from an outside post at Yonkers last time out and I think he'll appreciate getting to stretch out on the big track from a better draw here. (8) OUTSIDE THE FIRE was third to two horses who would be heavily favored in this event last Saturday and won the last time he was at the NW12500L4 level. (6) STABLE GENIUS scored over NW7500L4's a week ago and I don't think the hike will be too much of a bother as he's faced much better at the Meadowlands before. Race 7 - NW7500L4 Pace (9) SPIRIT OF STLOUIS N starts from a poor draw, but I think may be on the right track given his solid qualifier and race this month. He drops out of the NW12500L4 class and merits a chance. (2) STELLAR YANKEE has finished out all of his recent miles well and slides down a notch on the ladder tonight. (8) ROSE RUN ZEKE came up empty at Yonkers on January 22 but has been sharp other than that. He was third in the same event REVOLVER N exits from a week ago. (2) LUKE MCGOOK also comes out of that REVOLVER N / ROSE RUN ZEKE tilt from last week and was fourth. He finished with plenty of pace, closing in 26 3/5. Race 9 - NW12500L4 / TrackMaster Rating 87.4 or Less as of 2-18-25 / NW9 Ext. PM Races LT Pace (2) SAULSBROOK VICTOR ships south from Woodbine Mohawk Park and at his best he's a contender in their top Preferred class. He drew well tonight, and I'll give him a chance. (9) LOVERS TROUBLE closed out his qualifier in 25 and change and returns to the Bongiorno stable to begin 2025. (1) HELLABALOU scored in his comeback qualifier a week ago and his resume speaks for itself. However, he likely has stakes engagements ahead and may be focused on that. Race 10 - F&M NW12500L4 / TrackMaster Rating 86.5 or Less as of 2-18-25 / Higher Money Winners may enter and draw outside Pace ***$50K GTD Pick 4 Pool*** (3) DOUGS BABE A finds a winnable spot here in her first outing of 2025, and she gets a rare opportunity to stretch out on the mile track as she usually competes over at Yonkers. (6) TONY'S MOM has hit the board in four of her last five starts and held on well to get third despite an arduous journey to the front last Saturday. (5) BLOOD MOON A comes up from Dover with three victories and a third in her last four trips behind the gate and was in their Open last time out. Race 11 - TrackMaster Rating 77.5 or Less as of 2-18-25 Pace (9) CAVIART CAMDEN's last win came in this class back on 11-22 and he's been racing against TrackMaster 80.5's since then. He drew poorly again but is making his second start after a layoff. (2) SUNSHINE'S FINEST got very sharp against MADC 1 company and gets to partner with a catch driver. He also slides in from the ten-hole to post two. (4) NOTORIOUS LUCK qualified fine at the Meadowlands last Saturday and debuts for trainer Scott Di Domenico. Race 12 - NW3000L4 Pace (9) FULSOME has been facing much tougher $40,000 claimers over at Yonkers, and although he drew poorly, this barn's horses are often driven aggressively, and I'm going to hope that's the case tonight. (1) BAILEYS ROCK N gained several positions in the final quarter of a NW5000L4 contest a week ago and drops here. (4) WHOLE LOTTA LOU gets significant post relief and shows a second against NW3000L4 company and a third against NW5000L4's. Race 13 - NW7500L4 / TrackMaster Rating 83.5 or Less as of 2-18-25 Trot (4) BLACK MAGIC exits a tough race and makes his third start back off the shelf tonight. I like that he drops out of the NW12500L4 class and did trot a pretty good final quarter last week. (5) WILLOWTIME didn't show much last week in his debut for Jeff Cullipher but qualified well prior to that and does get to drop a level. (1) DRIBBLING BI scored the last time he competed in a NW7500L4 event and has been going up against NW12500L4's since then. Race 14 - NW2000L4 Pace (10) EURO STEP departs from post ten but qualified pretty well last Saturday and adds Lasix for his first start as a 4-year-old. He was facing better down in Delaware when last seen. (7) DUDDIE'S LOR had no chance a week ago when the winner blew out the field but meets up with a wide-open group here and shows a recent third against NW3000L4 company. (1) HYPEBEAST didn't race last week due to the weather but had a third in a TrackMaster 77.5 or Less dash prior to that and drew the pole again.
