Race 1 - MADC 2 Pace

(6) FERDINAND A faded last week, but he got caught up in a pace battle and didn't make the front. Hopefully he can secure the lead tonight like he did in his victory on September 9, and I think he could be sharper tonight as he was off for over a month coming into that start last Saturday. (3) SEEUINNASHVILLE A was very game a week ago as he took command from first-up over the off track before ending up second. He has a good history at the Meadowlands. (2) BRAZEN BRAZILIAN gets some post relief tonight after coming in third in the same race that SEEUINNASHVILLE A exits. He was favored in that test but could offer a better price here.

Race 2 - TrackMaster Rating 71 or Less as of 10-24-23/Not 3rd or Better L7 Starts/7500CLM Pace

(6) CHESAPEAKE SUNRISE shows three on-the-board finishes in his lines, including a win on August 11 and is a first-timer for trainer Izzy Estrada. We've all seen that angle result in improved performances. (2) STONE COLD SAVAGE has been racing in higher TrackMaster levels at Freehold and won twice. He's had good luck at the post draw lately with two poles and now a two-hole. (1) HEART OF ROCK gained spots and ground in the final quarter of his mile a week ago and moves inside from post nine to the rail.

Race 3 - F&M NW7500L4/TrackMaster Rating 83.5 or Less as of 10-24-23 Pace

(1) CASIE'S BELIEVER enters off a sick scratch but has been racing at much higher levels out of town and starts from post one. (6) WINE N DINE ME cruised in a new lifetime mark in the corresponding class to this one most recently at Harrah's Philadelphia and has shown the ability to race well both on the lead and from behind. (7) MIND BLOWING steps up a notch on the ladder but put in a good effort last week to finish second after a first-over try and had good form at Harrah's Philadelphia prior to that.

Race 4 - TrackMaster Series Leg 2/TrackMaster Rating 74 or Less as of 10-24-23/NW1000L4/Leg 1 Starters/10000CLM Pace

(5) PRINCE MCARDLE N had some success in the Estrada barn in 2021 and 2022 and is back with him now. I'll look for his form to turn around and use. (7) BLOODHOUND closed well to finish second in this class a week ago. He's raced on the front-end down at Freehold a couple of times, too, so he's got options on tactics. (3) FIREBALL FREDDY had some pace on the end of his mile last Saturday and was off a month coming into that try. He just missed by a nose at this level back on the 8th of September.

Race 5 - NW3000L4/TrackMaster Rating 75.80 or Less as of 10-24-23 Pace

(6) BIZYS BEATLE won several times at the Meadowlands back in the winter, and I'm going to expect more aggressive handling tonight after an off-the-pace journey last week. (1) ALTA BLUES A makes his third start back after a layoff and was second with broken equipment in a NW5000L5 tilt at Harrah's Philadelphia most recently. (4) GOOD INVESTMENT grabbed a third-place finish against NW5000L5 company most recently at Yonkers and missed by just a nose the last time he competed at the Meadowlands on September 9.

Race 6 - NW5000L4/TrackMaster Rating 80.5 or Less as of 10-24-23 Pace

(9) PASSA-GRILLE BEACH starts from a bad post but has a solid history at the Meadowlands, showed some late interest in his mile a week ago despite having a gap in his schedule, tallied over at Pocono two back and gets reunited with Braxten Boyd, who guided him to that triumph. (1) FIZZING N has been racing in a higher class than this down at Freehold in his last three outings and gets some post relief after starting from the seven-hole in his most recent outing. (2) LOVIN ON YOU makes his second start back after a layoff and qualified pretty well at the Meadowlands on 10-13. He does appear to be a certified closer, so he'll need some pace to chase.

Race 7 - F&M TrackMaster Series Leg 2/TrackMaster Rating 74 or Less as of 10-24-23/NW1000L4/Leg 1 Starters/10000CLM Pace

(3) SHES A LIVE WIRE comes east from Hawthorne for connections who had a win in the horse and gelding companion event to this one last Saturday. She had poor posts in two attempts at Illinois but drew well tonight. (9) STRAWBERRY FIELDS drew outside tonight but romped to an easy win a week ago in this series and I could easily see her doubling up. (5) VIRTUAL KISS won another division of this contest last week and is making her third start for trainer Mike Watson. He's off to a good start to the Meadowlands meet.

Race 8 - NW5000L4/TrackMaster Rating 80.5 or Less as of 10-24-23 Pace

(9) MONTANA STORM N landed the outside post but drops a notch off a third-place finish against NW7500L4 company last Saturday. (1) MIDNIGHT NATION is the lone 3-year-old in this race but had a good enough season in Canada to make the Ontario Sires Stakes Super Final. (6) BB LUCKY BOY stopped last time out at Yonkers but he had to work very hard to get to the top and that was against $50,000 claimers. He finds a much softer spot here.

Race 9 - NW5000L4/TrackMaster Rating 80 or Less as of 10-24-23 Trot

(2) NEXTROUNDSONME gets a class/post relief combo tonight after finishing a rallying second in a NW7500L4 contest last Saturday. (4) CONGRESS HILL EVA comes up from Freehold with back-to-back victories and performed well at the Meadowlands earlier this year, too. (3) STARLIT RAMBO has hit the board in his last three tries and moves inside from post eight to the three-hole here.

Race 10 - NW7500L4/TrackMaster Rating 83.5 or Less as of 10-24-23/Winner Base Class NW5000 1 of L4 Starts Pace

(2) SANTANA HANOVER qualified for the Ontario Sires Stakes Grassroots Series final. He has been off since that race on September 30, but I will trust that he's ready to go in his debut for Jenn Bongiorno. (1) CHASER HANOVER finished fourth after looming from first-over in this class last Saturday and gets a switch to a catch driver in Jason Bartlett. (5) RIFLEMAN was another Mike Watson trainee that raced well a week ago, closing fast after angling off the pylons following a shuffle.

Race 11 - F&M TrackMaster Series Leg 2/TrackMaster Rating 74 or Less as of 10-24-23/NW1000L4/Leg 1 Starters/10000CLM Pace

(4) TWO FRISKIE TO PET will be another Estrada trainee I will give a chance, though he's had this mare for a bit. She tried to leave last week but was then wrangled back to last before gaining some spots in the final quarter. I think that she tried to show speed was a good sign and she moves inside on the gate. (2) SHELLIE DE VIE is winless so far in 2023 but has had success at the Meadowlands before and finished out her mile last Saturday pretty well. (9) PULL ME THROUGH got up to finish in the runner-up spot behind the romping Strawberry Fields in that division of this series a week ago and makes her second start back after a layoff.

Race 12 - F&M NW5000L4/TrackMaster Rating 80.5 or Less as of 10-24-23/F&M NW3000L4 Drawn Inside Pace

(3) SMOOTH DEBATE N is a horse I've been chasing over at Yonkers and will use at the Meadowlands tonight, too. She was third against NW10000L5's at the Hilltop three back and gets significant post relief here after having the seven-hole most recently. (6) FREESTARFLIGHT picked up a check in the New York Excelsior A Series final last month and her most recent qualifier at Yonkers was quite good as she gained ground in a solid final quarter. (4) PATTYCAKE MOOSS advanced from ninth to fourth in the back-half of her mile last Saturday. That was her first appearance since a runner-up finish in this class on September 9, so she could be sharper tonight.

Race 13 - TrackMaster Series Leg 2/TrackMaster Rating 74 or Less as of 10-24-23/NW1000L4/Leg 1 Starters/10000CLM Pace

(1) CATCHME IF LOU CAN advanced from eighth to fifth in the final quarter of his race last Saturday and slides inside on the gate from post eight to the pole position. He hasn't won since joining the Bongiorno barn but hopefully can break through tonight. (7) ALWAY'S CLOSE was fourth in the first leg of this series a week ago, and I think he meets up with a softer group here than he faced in that event. (8) LIKE CLOCKWORK moves outside on the gate here but got up to finish third in this class last Saturday and has had success at the Meadowlands before.
