CHAMPIONSHIP MEET STATS: 174-48-35-29 / $246.10 (-$101.90)
BEST BETS: 13-6-4-2 / $26.20 (+$0.20)
BEST BET:
INSTA GLAM (4th)
SPOT PLAY: CAVIART AUDREY (5th)
.20 Pick 5 Ticket: 1-4,6,7,8,9 / 2,3,6,9 / 1-4,6,8,10 / 7 / 5,9 = $89.60
.20 Pick 6 Ticket: 7 / 5,9 / 2,5 / 1,2,7 / 3,6 / ALL = $48

Race 1: Trackmaster Rating 73.5 or less - **$52,655 Pick 5 Carryover**

Bottom-level pacers kick off this huge Pick 5 sequence with a monster carryover and outside of the top pick, none of these have any form to speak of. There will be plenty of spreading deep here. (6) ATOMIC REI picked up David Miller last time and charged home to miss by a nose. Anything close to that effort puts him in the win picture. (9) MAN HE CAN SKOOT was completely empty in his first start since December and debut for this barn. Eleven-year-old made double any horse in this field last year and I wouldn't even be slightly surprised if he woke up in a big way for Dexter Dunn. (3) ONE TOUGH NUT was handled aggressively and didn't respond last Friday. A patient steer could improve the finish.

Race 2: Non-winners 2 races or $20,000 life

Another difficult race in the Pick 5. (2) HELLO I LOVE YOU has displayed some good trot when remaining flat and she coasted around the track in a recent qualifier with hobbles added. This could be a breakout mile for her. (9) ETRA DE VIE broke heading into the first turn at Saratoga last time. She moves to the big track and that should help. (3) ICONE AM S was steady in her lone race and you can disregard the time because that track was slow. (6) THE ICE DUTCHESS finished up willingly in her qualifier. She’s a $400,000 yearling purchase, so you know the breeding is good.

Race 3: Trackmaster Rating 78 or less

(6) PREPPY ART was racing well here earlier in the year and he comes off a nice tightener at Pocono in his first start since February. He looks like the one to beat. (4) SAPPHIRE CITY has loads of class and he should be heading to the front. (2) WILLIE BOOTS has been rallying well in the amateur ranks and now picks up a catch-driver. (1) IDEAL CHILL caught a tough foe most recently. He can win on his best.

Race 4: Jim Doherty Elim - **$13,524 Pick 6 Carryover**

(7) INSTA GLAM has looked great just about every moment of every on-track appearance in her career. The only knock I could find is that she took the second turn a bit wide at Pocono last time, but the wider turns here should help. There is no reason to believe she won't be heading to the front and prove tough to beat. (5) DARLENE HANOVER has been a victim of circumstance as she tried to close into a slow pace in her first two starts. She just needs a fair tempo up front to set her up. (1) MAY KARP & (6) INEFFABLE both raced well in their early starts and either is capable of showing more.

Race 5: Home Grown 2YO Filly Pace

(9) CAVIART AUDREY was as impressive as possible while losing in her lone qualifier. Daughter of the great Darlin's Delight is a full sister to millionaire Darlinonthebeach. (5) GRACE HILL was spectacular in both PASS races and deserves to be the favorite here; using top two in pick 5/6. (2) ALWAYS B LAUGHIN has done nothing wrong thus far but finds some really good competition tonight.

Race 6: Jim Doherty Elim - $50K GTD Pick 4

(6) ALTAR has put together two sparkling efforts in a row while displaying speed at both ends of the mile and winning easily enough. (2) AUNT IRENE is loaded with ability but unfortunately broke in her career debut. Driver change here to Dunn could mean a shorter than deserved price. (4) DREAM CHAPTER is another talented youngster who can't be ignored.

Race 7: Non-winners $7,000 in last 5/TM Rating 81.5 or less

(7) SUMATRA hasn't been in this cheap since 2016 and while that was four years ago, he romped by 10 lengths. Classy veteran knows how to win when in the right class. (1) HAMMER TIME dropped and popped last week. This guy is capable of stringing together wins. (2) FASHIONWOODCHOPPER finally draws well. He's fast enough to win given a decent trip. (10) SWEET CHAPTER caught a monster last time. He's capable and keeps Miller over my top pick, but the post really hurts.

Race 8: Peter Haughton Elim.

(3) VENERATE was super in his pari-mutuel debut and I see no reason to jump off the bandwagon. (6) CARUSO righted the ship last week. He'll be heavily backed but I'm not sure I trust him yet after that perfect-trip win. (8) PLUMVILLE PRINCE raced much better in his second career start when second behind perhaps the best 2yo colt going now.

Race 9: Non-winners $7,000 in last 5/TM Rating 81.5 or less

Close-knit race to wrap up the Pick 6 and Pick 4. (8) TRIPLE DIP has caught some bad luck in three starts since returning from break. If there is one horse in the field I think could jump up with a big start, it's her. (4) SHELLIE DE VIE was a winner in this class two starts back. (1) DIXIE STAR N steps up off a win. (9) ALWAYS BE LUCY comes to town with plenty of early speed and Tetrick at the helm. (5) LYNBAR ROSE N drops in claiming price for a capable barn. (3) APPLE HANOVER hasn’t been sharp, but you know she fits with this group.

Race 10: Non-winners $14,000 in last 5/NW 8 races life - $40K GTD Pick 4

(1) MUSCLE DIAMOND has been tackling some stiff competition of late and should really wake up in this spot. (4) KATKIN AMERICAN arrives in town with speed and form after missing all of 2019. His loss last time came to a trotter that holds a 10-9-1-0 record this year, so don't count it against him. (6) LORD CROMWELL also has some early speed and could get into position to hit the exotics.

Race 11: Non-winners 2-3 races or $25,000-$30,000 life

(7) PAULIE WALNUTS debuts for a new barn and finished his mile very willingly in his recent qualifier. He's worth following off that initial showing. (4) FORTUNE STARLET gets a final tune-up prior to the Hambletonian Oaks and without a win this year, maybe she'll be allowed to run free on the lead. (2) SHADRACK HANOVER bested the top pick in his recent qualifier but did get a big jump on him. (1) LIGHT BLUE MOVERS stayed flat with hobbles added and Tetrick joins the team now.

Race 12: Home Grown 2YO Colt Pace

(7) SUMMA CUM LAUDE gets away from the very talented Lou's Pearlman and should strut his stuff in here despite the defection of Gingras for (8) MONTEREY JACK, who actually went off the favorite vs. #7 last time and finished a neck in front of him; main danger. (3) MAKE MY DEO & (2) DOUBLE METAL both raced well in their debuts and either could show more now.

Race 13: Non-winners $2,500 in last 5/TM Rating 74 or less

(1) BULLVILLEKARLA drops in class and finds a very weak field. (6) ARNIE'S ANGEL finds a great spot upon arrival from The Meadows. He could certainly wake up. (3) INDY ROSE makes her second start off the bench and could show more. (8) ROSE RUN SAMANTHA comes off a win in this class but gets a bad post shift.
