CHAMPIONSHIP MEET STATS: 96-26-18-16 / $115.40 (-$76.60)
BEST BETS: 7-2-3-1 / $6.80 (-$7.20)
BEST BET:
WHITTAKER N (13th)
SPOT PLAY: LYON'S IMAGE (11th)

Race 1: GSY Amateur Drivers - **$40K GTD Pick 5**

(7) SCIROCCO MISTYSAID went an even mile at Pocono in his first start in four months. Four-year-old did some good things in this series when last in action. (8) HONOR ME comes off a good mile for a barn that has done well with limited starters. (1) TAKE IT BACK TERRY rallied from the clouds last time; needs to stay closer. (5) IN ROCK WE TRUST is a capable horse who might offer good value.

Race 2: NJ Sire Stakes 2YO Colt Trot

(3) SOUTHWIND TYRION looked every bit the part of a serious horse winning his lone qualifier and Svanstedt came out strong with a pair of 2-year-old winners at Yonkers Tuesday. (5) TOPOFTHEHILL S flashed crazy speed in his second qualifier and a switch to Melander in the bike could be just what this young and fast colt needs. (8) ZENITH STRIDE showed good improvement with a solid final quarter behind a talented colt last time.

Race 3: NJ Sire Stakes 2YO Colt Trot

(4) MON AMOUR flashed speed at both ends of the mile in his latest qualifier and this $180K purchase looks to have some ability. (1) LOCATELLI didn't show much from an outside post but hails from the hottest barn in the country and draws well now. (3) IZNOGOUD AM S cruised on the lead most recently. There seems to be some talent here.

Race 4: NJ Sire Stakes 2YO Filly Trot - Pick 6

(4) SHINING BRIGHTLY can't be faulted for losing her last qualifier to Aunt Irene, who looks like a complete killer at this point. Brittany Farms homebred should be forwardly placed and have a big shot. (1) MATERIAL GIRL had early speed and wasn't bad on the back end last time out. Now she gets Dunn in the bike and could show more coming out of a fast mile. (5) EAZY PASS was a willing winner in her first qualifier but broke last time. First foal to race from $460K earner Livinonthefastlane might be handled more patiently here but could come on late.

Race 5: Miss Versatility Leg 2

(2) PLUNGE BLUE CHIP gets lost in the Manchego/Atlanta shuffle, but she has trotted a number of miles under 1:50 (in victory and defeat) and has held her own with those two on many occasions. Now 5, she took a tour of the track in her first start since October while facing the boys from a bad post. This is a spot where she can make some noise. (3) ATLANTA was given the perfect drive and got the job done in the Cutler. She is certainly the one to beat but perhaps not worth the likely 2-5 off odds. (1) FELICITYSHAGWELL S displayed big early speed in her first start in the U.S. and she should improve with that race under her belt; don't ignore her.

Race 6: Non-winners $10,000 in last 5/Opt. $30,000 Clm. - **$50K GTD Pick 4**

(1) DW'S REVENGE drops in for a tag to find a spot where he can win. He's been competitive at this level in the past and should offer good value. (8) HASHTAGMADEYALOOK is in good form and has early speed in a field that seems to lack that quality. (5) INFINITY AS is probably the best horse in the race, but he's too erratic to back at a short price while moving up in class. (4) ALL AMERICAN N is another with early speed that should be in prime position; Gingras chose off a Burke horse to drive, which is very relevant.

Race 7: NJ Sire Stakes 2YO Filly Trot

(8) ALTAR was flattered when Insta Glam set a stakes record 1:55 in a PASS division Monday at The Meadows. First pairing of Swan Hot Mama with Muscle Hill seems to have produced a good filly. (5) AVENIR looked good in her qualifiers until the break last time and that miscue could lead to value. (3) BEAUTIFUL GAME just missed to Aunt Irene in her last qualifier; using. (1) CHABLIS did nothing wrong in her lone on-track appearance.

Race 8: Non-winners $7,000 in last 5

(8) WHAT CHAPTER took a nice step forward in his second start back from the break and if Tetrick can leave for a tuck, he should be in prime position. (3) STARLIGHT AS has done a better job minding his manners on the big track and he is getting class relief. (7) SOUTHWIND FROST has been trotting fast enough to win this race but getting stuck against horses that have been too fast for him to win recently.

Race 9: Non-winners 1 race or $7,500 life

(1) DREAM CHAPTER strode clear very impressively after sitting the pocket in her latest qualifier. She seems to have natural early speed and Takter tends to race them to win rather than baby them along. (9) INEFFABLE showed me something with a long sustained move and dug in nicely to win last time. Jolene Jolene filly, a half-sister to the $159K-winning 3-year-old Crucial, can handle the outside draw. (5) DARLENE HANOVER closed well in her latest qualifier and got McCarthy to stick with her.

Race 10: Non-winners $20,000 in last 5/11 races life - **$40K GTD Pick 4**

(2) JL CRUZE drops out of the Preferred and should take charge in this spot. (8) FORBIDDEN TRADE was loaded with trot finishing last time after a "no chance" trip in the Preferred at Mohawk. If put in play, he'll make some noise. (9) PAPPY GO GO might show speed in this spot. He's good enough to play with these on his best.

Race 11: Trackmaster Rating 73.5 or less

(10) LYON'S IMAGE raced evenly in his first start since February. Five-year-old is down in class and has the early speed to overcome the outside post versus a lackluster group. (3) ATOMIC REI rallied well last time and seems likely to show early speed from the better post. (5) VICTORYDAZE WILWIN closed for second and tends to win one here every year. (6) DIABANDO gained 11 lengths in the stretch last week.

Race 12: NJ Sire Stakes 2YO Colt Trot

(6) SONOFAMISTERY was parked for almost the first half on June 27 and still held (2) SPY BOOTH at bay rather easily. She seems worth following. The latter is a $460K Harrisburg purchase who has looked good in the morning but was never getting past the top pick last time. (8) KILDARE KING trotted in 1:59 4/5 over the half at Delaware; there's talent here.

Race 13: Non-winners $2,500 in last 5

(1) WHITTAKER N is way down in class and should demolish this weak group. (4) SWIFT AS A SHADOW finds a good spot outside of the top pick. I'm expecting a solid effort. (7) OUR POSITANO N raced rather well last time while technically up in company. (2) STELLA'S PHELLA is capable of saving ground and getting into the lower exotics at a price.
