Meadowlands logo 1.5

CHAMPIONSHIP MEET STATS: 227-73-46-21 / $377.20 (-$76.80)

BEST BETS: 15-10-2-0 / $29.00 (-$1.00)

SPOT PLAYS: 16-3-3-4 / $24.20 (-$7.80)

BEST BET: UBRUTE (13th)

SPOT PLAY: BLUE COLLAR MAN (7th)

Race 1: Meadowlands Amateur Drivers Club 1 Pace - Pick 5

(7) MUSCLE FACTORY a is clearly going to fire to the front in this spot and should be able to control the action. 11-year-old could improve in his second start off the bench, as could (4) PIRATES SHADOW, who was certainly flat last time. He’s another with some early speed in his arsenal and perhaps we’ll see it tonight at good odds. (1) MEET THE CREEPER raced well considering the trip last time. He’s sharp enough to win given a clean trip. (2) URBAN RENEWAL has form and could be a factor, but I don’t love him at lower odds.

Race 2: Non-winners $5,000 (NW L2 $6,000) in last 5/TM 80.5 (NW L2 82.5) or less

(3) CERISE RAINBOW A chased a good one in Fragment which should have her tight in start one of her U.S. career. Overseas stats seem solid as well. (5) REMI LOU A rolled through the lower levels and has been pretty good since getting to this condition with a pair of second-place finishes. (7) ONEDERFULBEACH missed by just a neck in this class last week.

Race 3: Non-winners $2,500 (NW L2/L5 $3,000/$4,801) in last 5 - Pick 6

(3) EUPHORIA N raced better on the class drop last time and now reaches the bottom of the condition ladder. This barn should have him ready. (1) MOVING ON OVER got his chance at this level last time and was a decent second from post 10; clear threat. (8) COMPENSATE drops out of claimers and perhaps can perk up.

Race 4: Trackmaster 68 (NW L4 69.15) or less

(4) GIRL ALMIGHTY was hopelessly trapped and when she got room there was simply too much ground to make up for a win chance. Mare is sharp now and hopefully will be put in play against a field that seems to lack much early speed. (2) COUNTRY DANCING missed six months of action but came back strong with a second last time. Four-year-old should be in close attendance again. (8) PHELGON and (9) JUST MY MAMA are both closing threats if they can get a little help and a smooth trip.

Race 5: Non-winners $2,500 (NW L2 $3,000) in last 5/TM 77 (NW L2 79.12) or less/Opt. $12,500 Clm.

(8) ROCK MY UNIVERSE blew up as the lukewarm favorite last week and I’m willing to stay on the bandwagon one more starts. (4) MELISSA P rallied nicely last time and could be ready to turn a corner. (5) ALL TOO WELL has early speed and form. It is hard to toss him out of the exotics. (7) ZAPPA beat most of these last time out and off that effort deserves some consideration.

Race 6: Trackmaster 74.5 (NW L2 76.5) or less/Opt. $10,000 Clm. - $50K GTD Pick 4

(5) OLLIE’S Z TAM woke up in a big way last week but the signs were perhaps there considering the prior start. (6) CRUNCHY got Boyd last time and came up just a neck shy of the victory. Hernandez is back in the bike but I’d expect an aggressive try. (1) FRAZIER HANOVER drops out of the amateur series and gets major post relief.

Race 7: Trackmaster 71 (NW L2 73) or less/Opt. $7,500 Clm.

(10) BLUE COLLAR MAN has big speed and picks up Beckwith this week after a string of starts with amateur drivers. Don’t be shocked if we see a big mile. (3) CAPTAIN CARTER owns early speed and form. Class drop this week could produce a winning effort. (7) WARRAWEE XCEED seems like more of an exotics player but this is a rather weak field overall and Dube is capable of waking up a horse. They don’t call him “double digit Dube” for nothing. .

Race 8: Trackmaster 80.5 (NW L2/L7 82.56/83.39) or less - Pick 5

(3) CAPTAIN UP finished in 26 3/5 last time to show life for the first time in a short while. That could be a sign that he’s ready to win again. (1) CAVEMAN A and (4) SEEN HERE are uncoupled stablemates from a good operation. Both are capable on the win end. (2) BEACH VIBES was doing decent work at Oak Grove and might be a fit in this spot.

Race 9: Trackmaster 77.5 (NW L2 79.5) or less/Opt. $12,500 Clm.

Trainer Jody Dunning finally unlocked the code to (3) GOOD ROCKIN and he delivered with a win last time. Veteran can string together victories with the right trip. (4) HUNGRYHUNGRY HIPPO drops a level on the Trackmaster scale and could awaken. (1) XPERT is in career form and as a 4-year-old is eligible to continue to improve. (5) DEAN B HANOVER will be heading to the front and seems likely to at least get into the exotics.

Race 10: Trackmaster 71 (NW L2 73.79) or less/Opt. $7,500 Clm. - $50K GTD Pick 4

(3) MR GRANT lands in a great spot to head to the front this week and sit a good trip. He’s got a win and a second in his last two TM71 starts. (4) FASHION FOREVER is a classy old guy who is moving down the class ladder. (2) CALGARIAN also steps down the ladder and more importantly draws inside this week.

Race 11: Trackmaster 68 (NW L4 69) or less

(1) TAKARA STING has two wins on the year, which is double the rest of the field combined. Three-year-old drops back into the TM68 class and should be in play early. (3) HUNGRY FOR PROFITS and (4) MY WISH CAME TRUE are both capable of showing some early speed and they have enough form to be contenders. That said, they own a combined 25-0-2-1 record in 2026. (5) ULLIAM is a horse that doesn’t like to win, but he is getting a huge driver change to Dube.

Race 12: Winners 1-4 (NW L2 5) races or $55,000 (NW L2 $60,000) life

(6) BENNY J qualified well behind a nice horse in Up Your Deo and here lands in against younger foes. (4) SUGAR PACKET gets some serious class relief dropping out of the NJSS Platinum ranks. (3) MR PENNER has the early speed to gun to the front and that should have him in position to succeed.

Race 13: Non-winners 5 (NW L2 6) races lifetime 3YO C&G

(7) UBRUTE faced the three best horses in the division in his North America Cup elimination and only lost by a few lengths. With only one start in 41 days, he would seem to be in the need of a good tightener if he is truly Meadowlands Pace bound. I’ll be shocked if he doesn’t bring a top effort and Gingras is stopping here on his way home from Yonkers to drive. (5) GENTLEMAN’S CLUB hasn’t been quite as good as he was last year. He’s another that needs to show something ahead of the Pace. (6) GUNMETAL perked up with a nice mile last time. We’ll get a better idea of how good he is this week.

Race 14: Non-winners 2 (NW L2 3) races or $25,000 (NW L2 $30,000) life/Maidens draw inside

(2) LUCILLE WALNER raced solo in her last qualifier but did everything right and looked good doing it. I’m intrigued to see what she offers in a pari-mutuel event assuming the price is north of 3-1. (4) CARVE hasn’t really lived up to her ability yet this year but I’m not willing to discount her yet. (8) SHE’S MONI brushed and crushed to start her year. My only concern here is whether they’ll want to push a Hambletonian Oaks eligible filly in her second start from an outside post. (7) OPULENCE kept her act together with hobbles added in last.

Race 15: Trackmaster 71 (NW L2 73) or less/Opt. $7,500 Clm.

(1) PINK LUMIERE has been stuck taking too much air lately and that has led to getting small pieces. Perhaps her consecutive fourths will lead to a better price on a very capable mare. (3) QUEEN SUN RYSER drops in claiming price and you have to think a good effort is forthcoming. (4) PEARL HARBOUR N lands in a spot where she may make the top. She’s been settling for minor awards of late but is certainly a contender on her best. (6) EXQUISITE won in this class two starts back.
