MEET STATS: 169-57-35-23 / $370.70 (+$32.70) BEST BETS: 12-7-1-2 / $31.00 (+$7.00) SPOT PLAYS: 12-4-2-0 / $36.40 (+$12.40) BEST BET: DAIQUIRI HANOVER (13th) SPOT PLAY: REVOLVER N (8th) Race 1: Meadowlands Amateur Drivers Club Trot for TM 77 or less - Pick 5 (7) BACARDI was aired out on the lead last time and held reasonably well for third. Maybe he can work out a slightly less taxing trip tonight behind the also speedy early (8) FASHION CANTAB, who has worked out consecutive pocket trips on his way to victories lately. (6) LANDIA sat just off the top pick last time and rolled on by late; trip threat again. [DRF HARNESS: Get Harness Eye PPs for this card] Race 2: Trackmaster 68.5 (NW L2/2L4 69/69.25) or less - Survivor 7 (4) DANDY IDEA has been trying to come from off the pace at Philly and that is simply not a recipe for success. She was facing better in her last try over the big track. (9) SWEET MOVES displayed signs of life last time with a much improved final quarter. Maybe this gal is ready to awaken. (6) HOLD MY TIARA drops to the Trackmaster basement and is eligible to improve. Race 3: Trackmaster 76.5 Final (1) SANTAFE’S APPETITE has gobbled these up in consecutive starts and there is no reason to believe she won’t do it again. (6) OUR SHELL BELLE is capable of firing a good race given a clean trip. Will she head to the front here? (3) RAGS TO RICHES and (2) SEVEN IT IS finished a neck apart last time but the former will be the better value on the board. Race 4: Trackmaster 74.5 (NW L2/2L4/L6 75/75.5/76.05) or less/NW $1,180 in last 4 or 3YO $3,851 in 2024 - Pick 6 (3) RUN THE WORLD DEO put in a decent qualifier despite finishing well behind. The bottom line is that I don’t trust any of these but I know this gal will offer value and she has a chance to improve back on the big track. (7) PHELGON is the sharpest horse in the race and I suspect she’ll show early speed. (4) SHAKE IT TWICE lacks form but does land in a good spot. She’s worth a look if the odds edge towards payout edges towards double digits. Race 5: Non-winners $3,000 in last 4/TM 77 or less (6) YO BETH D hasn’t done much since moving into the Lachance barn but perhaps the issue is simply she doesn’t want to be on smaller tracks right now. Four-year-old used to be good at one point and perhaps the change of scenery will be a difference maker. (1) UNIQUE KEMP reunites with Smith here and catches a soft group; very capable off the right trip. (5) I’LL OWE YOU ONE doesn’t win often but is capable of an on-the-board finish here. Race 6: Meadowlands Amateur Drivers Club 1 Pace - $50K GTD Pick 4 (4) SUNSHINE’S FINEST is as capable as any in this field and tends to do great work at a price when he draws well. (3) YER SO BAD had no shot last time but should get away closer from the inside post and have a fair amount of early speed to chase. (1) WAY TO CLOSE has big speed and is certainly capable of popping a big mile. Race 7: Trackmaster 80 (NW L2/2L4 80.5/81.23) or less (2) TOTO HANOVER draws a bit further inside this week and that should allow him to get away close without having to work hard. If he gets any reasonable trip a win is in play. (7) VANDALISM steps up after three straight victories and remains a threat. (3) AIR GUITAR and (1) PASSA-GRILLE BEACH have both been racing well but seem to be win-shy; using both underneath. Race 8: Non-winners $2,000 in last 4 - Pick 5 (3) REVOLVER N drops like a few others off an effort where he tired after two moves. While he is just 1 for his last 38, there is some ability inside and the post and competition should work to his advantage. (2) ALL ABOUT THE HUNT improved in start two after missing a year of action; big threat. (7) HUNT FOR CASH was better last time but I can’t recommend unless he is north of 5-1. (1) ALTA BLUES A dropped to this level, took money and broke last time; can rebound. Race 9: Meadowlands Amateur Drivers Club 1/2 Pace (4) T DOG is perhaps best in a straight MADC 1 but this race might set up nicely with some early speed to his outside leading to a comfy second- or third-over trip. (2) EL YERNO has one big move and Beltrami did a bad job of using it properly last time. Let’s give him another chance to time it right. (6) ROCK ON LINE is as consistent as they come while rarely winning this year. (8) MUSCLE FACTORY A has won three of four starts and it’s hard to toss him off your Pick 4 tickets. Race 10: Non-winners $7,500 (NW 2L4 $8,250) in last 4/TM 83.5 (NW L2/2L4 84/84.5) or less - $50K GTD Pick 4 (6) TWIN B SUNKISSED comes off the best effort she has put in recently and this is a serious class drop from the last time she was here. Six-year-old mare figures to show some early speed. (3) FADE OUT moves to the inside of the gate and the last time that happened in this class she visited to the winner’s circle. (1) PARISIAN BLUE CHIP was an easy winner versus easier when last here. Well-travelled mare seems to keep her form at every track. (8) ABSOLUTE POWER is off a career-best mile; hard to eliminate. Race 11: Trackmaster 74.5 (NW L2/2L4 75/75.78) or less (5) SEEUINNASHVILLE A won in a higher Trackmaster class two starts back and now gets to drop. What a country! (7) BAILEYS ROCK N has been keeping good company in the amateur ranks and should enjoy this field. (3) BIG BAD BILL has decent form and plenty of early speed. Race 12: Trackmaster 71.5 (NW L2/2L4/L8 72/72.6/72.65) or less (1) EA MUSHU finds a field with ample early speed and perhaps this gal can sit just off it and pounce late. (4) GREYSTONE TREASURE comes off a win, which is saying a lot in this field. (5) WIGGLING JENNA had an off night versus a sharper field last time; easier spot. [DRF HARNESS: Sign up for our FREE DRF Harness Digest Newsletter] Race 13: Non-winners 2 (NW L2 3/Fillies 4) races life/Maidens draw inside (4) DAIQUIRI HANOVER is a serious horse who chased home Karl in the Valley Victory last year and just missed versus T C I in his 2024 debut. He should crush these in preparation for bigger and better things. (9) AMAZING CATCH won at first asking in 2024 and should be pushing away from the gate here. Notice Dunn is coming back from Yonkers just to drive this one. (5) SEVEN REPS stayed flat last time; more now? Race 14: Trackmaster 68.5 (NW L2/2L4 69/69.25) or less (4) LINDYTHEFOURTEENTH finished steadily last time with no shot from post 10. The post improvement gives him a shot to make some noise. (5) CHIP WALTER rallied well for second a few lengths ahead of the top pick last time. (10) THNDRFRMTHETHRON N has the early speed to overcome the draw at big odds if the trip isn’t too tough. (2) HARRY HANOVER is another with early zip, but he is versatile enough to come from off the pace as well with the right setup.
