He gets an inside post here against a beatable group and hopefully he'll come with a good performance like back in late March or early April. (10) MARVALOUS ONE is stuck outside but is probably the sharpest horse in the field and would've won from the ten-hole on 4-26 had he not gone off-stride. (6) BILBO HANOVER doesn't have a victory in 2024 but has hit the board in five of 12 tries and has paced solid final quarters in his last three appearances. [DRF HARNESS: Get Harness Eye PPs for this card] Race 2 - F&M TrackMaster Rating 76.5 or Less as of 5-7-24 Pace (6) OUR SHELL BELLE faces softer company tonight than the Weiss Series at Pocono or the NW2 class at the Meadowlands she's faced in her last two races. She has a win at The Big M back on 4-5 in a slightly lower TrackMaster level. (1) BETTE TINA endured an impossible trip when favored on April 26 but moves inside to the pole tonight. (3) LETS RYDE GIRL hit the board a couple of times at the Meadowlands in late March and mid-April and returns off a runner-up finish at Tioga. Race 3 - 3YO Fillies NW2 Ext. PM Races LT/NW40001 in 2024/Maidens Draw Inside Trot (9) SISTER MARY MAUDE drew the outside but qualified very strongly twice at the Meadowlands and was a good second in a tougher class than this at Yonkers on 4-24. (3) SISTER DIANE comes in from Pocono off a victory in the Weiss Series consolation from the eight-hole. She also hit the board twice in the Weiss prelims, so I'll include in this NW2 event. (2) GRACEFUL DESIGN didn't win as a freshman in 2023 but did earn over $110,000 and had good final quarters in her two qualifiers. Race 4 - TrackMaster Rating 77 or Less as of 5-7-24/Starters NW TrackMaster 77 Last Start Pace (7) MCCLINCHIE N was scratched most recently at Freehold, but it was being late for Lasix, not sick or injured, so that doesn't bother me too much. He's been racing at much higher levels at the Meadowlands, including being in a TrackMaster 83 tilt as recently as 3-30. (4) LINDY THE BRAVE won handily first time out for trainer Izzy Estrada last Friday, and though he steps up tonight, I don't see that being an issue. (10) HEARTLANDBANYSBRO tallied in an amateur race a week ago and gets to partner with a catch driver this time. Race 5 - MADC 1 Pace (5) MARTY MONKHOUSER A raced from off the pace last Friday and did finish with some pace. I could easily see them going back to aggressive tactics tonight after tripping him out, and we've seen what he can do if he gets loose on the front-end. (1) STOLEN ART backed up his win on 4-26 with a third-place result a week ago and starts from the pole position. (8) FINAL JUSTICE moves out on the gate this time but has hit the board in his last two outings, and I'll use underneath. Race 6 - 3YO C&G NW2 Ext. PM Races LT Pace **$50,000 Guaranteed Pick 4 Pool** (1) LOUNAR ECLIPSE looked like he had pace in the lane last Saturday but never had room to go with it. He gets another inside post tonight, and I'll hope he's both closer to the pace and able to shake free when needed. (5) STEELY KNIFE just missed by a nose in this class at the Meadowlands on 4-6 and then hit the board twice against NW4's over at Pocono in subsequent starts. (6) ROCK THE CAPTAIN N qualified well at the Meadowlands on 4-27 and then was third in a division of the PA Stallion Series at The Meadows. He did win once at the Meadowlands last year as a freshman. Race 7 - 9000-12500CLM HCP Pace (7) CONCUR takes a drop out of tougher claiming handicap company, and I think that should get him back into the hunt. He also meets up with a wide-open group. (4) PHOTOBOMBR HANOVER makes his fourth start out of Per Engblom's barn and was second in a $15,000 claiming handicap at Pocono two back. (3) DARK HORSE comes in from Freehold with a win and a second in his last two starts. I'll just throw out that one start at the Meadowlands on 4-20 as it was from a bad post and likely against stouter foes. Race 8 - NW10000L4/NW14000L4/NW 14K Class Last Start / NW7 Ext. PM Races or 70000LT Draw Outside Trot Both (6) STABLE GENIUS and (5) CHAPERCRAZ get away from the red-hot Lexus Kody tonight. I believe Stable Genius will offer the better price of the two, and I'll go with him, though I'd also like to see him a little closer to the front. (4) SEA CAN comes in from Yonkers in very sharp form and gets to stretch his legs on the big track tonight for trainer Ron Burke. Race 9 - MADC 1 Pace (1) FERDINAND A wound up getting parked a couple of weeks ago but moves all the way in from post ten to the pole tonight, and that should mean he'll be on or near the front. (2) LOVETHEWAYYOULIE gets significant post relief and shows a pair of last quarters in 27 and change in his last two tries. (4) WARRAWEE YANKEE has just a single victory thus far in 2024 but has hit the board in his last two efforts in this class. Race 10 - NW5000L4/Starters NW This Class 3 of Last 4 Starts Pace **$50,000 Guaranteed Pick 4 Pool** (5) REVOLVER N has not raced since back on 4-13, but he would have been a winner that night if he had been able to get room sooner in the lane. He was also third at this level back on March 16. (6) STELLAR YANKEE continues to work his way down the ladder here and was fourth in a fast mile last Saturday. (3) CAVEMAN A shows racing way stouter rivals than this in his last two tries and a win in a NW7500L4 base class event on the 30th of March. Race 11 - TrackMaster Rating 80 or Less as of 5-7-24/Not 5th or Better TrackMaster 83 Last Start Pace (4) THRESHOLD makes his second start back after a layoff tonight. He gets a slightly better post, too, and closed with plenty of pace against TrackMaster 83 or Less rivals last Saturday. (6) ALWAYS B BILLY is also dropping out of that TrackMaster 83 race that my top pick exits and showed the ability to hit the board at the Meadowlands twice last month. (7) PASSA-GRILLE BEACH came home in 26 and change in that same TrackMaster 83 contest and is capable of showing much more early speed if the connections want to switch tactics. Race 12 - TrackMaster Series Final/F&M TrackMaster 84 CD (Points Leaders) Pace (4) DONTKARENIFIDO was jammed up on excess cover last week after taking back to ninth. I will anticipate she'll be put in play with the big money on the line tonight and did win over many of these two weeks ago. (3) FADE OUT fired home with strong final quarters in both of her appearances in this series and gets to move inside on the gate here. (1) PATTYCAKE MOOSS tallied in this class on 4-26 and gets to slide in from post ten to the pole position. PM Races LT/Maidens Draw Inside Trot (6) PURPLE LORD broke twice over at Pocono to start his 2024 campaign but went around the track fine at the Meadowlands in a qualifier last Friday, and being the only 4-year-old in here, he likely doesn't have an eye on future stakes engagements to prep for. (8) LIFE ON THE BLUF and (9) WILD TICKET both won stakes events as freshmen and qualified back well. However, given their outside posts and stakes races coming up, I will use them underneath only. Race 14 - TrackMaster Rating 72 or Less as of 5-7-24/7500CLM Pace (5) TWO FOR TRIPPING ended up getting left out when he tried for the lead in the backstretch last week. He makes his second start for Estrada tonight, and I anticipate a winning performance will be ahead. (9) ROCKABILLY CHARM exits a solid try against MADC 1 company from the nine-hole last Friday and has had plenty of success at the Meadowlands before. (1) COIN FLIP comes north from Freehold with three straight on-the-board finishes and was third in a similar class to this one at the Meadowlands back on 4-5.
