WINTER MEET STATS: 211-47-33-31 / $350.20 (-$71.80) BEST BETS: 15-7-3-1 / $26.00 (-$4.00) SPOT PLAYS: 14-5-2-4 / $47.00 (+$19.00) BEST BET: CALL OPTION (10th) SPOT PLAY: MISS JUM JABBER (6th) Race 1: Meadowlands Amateur Drivers Club 1 Pace - Pick 5 (2) ROJAN’S WAY really hasn’t been bad lately and tonight he seemingly lands in the perfect spot to take charge for a driver that has been very aggressive lately. This field lacks early speed and doesn’t have much power on the outside of the gate. (6) TAKARA STING raced well in his lone amateur try. Maybe that is his comfort zone. (1) MEET THE CREEPER should be able to sit close and could pounce late with smooth sailing. (7) SEIZE CONTROL has a shot if the pace setup works in his favor. [DRF HARNESS: Get Harness Eye PPs for this card] Race 2: Non-winners 2 (NW L2 3) races or $20,000 (NW L2 $30,000) life/Maidens draw inside (7) MAXIMUM EXPOSURE changed barns and woke up in a big way last weekend. If he can repeat that mile than this field is going to be chasing him. (6) NET WEIGHT returns here at a reduced level and certainly fits nicely. That said, he’s been a bit of a tease in terms of ability versus results. (3) TRAVOLTA HANOVER is certainly a risk to break and showed some subtle signs in his qualifier that it could still be in the cards. If you can look past that issue, the qualifier was actually better than it looks on paper and you should be rewarded with big odds. Race 3: Trackmaster 68 (NW L2/L4 69/70) or less - $94,833 Pick 8 Carryover (6) BRIGHTEN YOUR LIFE has been racing well from difficult starting slots lately. Older mare really is sitting on a win and just needs the right trip tonight versus a very soft field. (4) SKATEBOARD CHIC has shown some early speed in her starts here and that seems likely again. (2) BEE AWARE has taken some time off and while the qualifier doesn’t look great, she won’t find a much easier spot. Race 4: Trackmaster 71 (NW L2 73.05) or less/Opt. $7,500 Clm. (3) JOB CRUNCH was used a bit to the front and again in the third quarter but for the most part she didn’t bring her best to the track last Friday. Maybe it was racing into the wind. She can do better than that and the price should drift up over 5-1 now. (7) AMAZING WISH is probably the most logical mare in the field but hardly reliable as the chalk if she ends up in that position. (1) WOODMERE LEAH scored at first asking off the bench last weekend. Barn has three wins in five starts this month. Race 5: Meadowlands Amateur Drivers Club 1 Pace (5) TARGARYEN EMPRESS gets the Beltrami call over (7) MADELINES BLK JACK. The former raced well for third last time and is one of many from this barn going good now. The latter got hung for his life most recently and could do more here with a new driver in the sulky. I’ll use both in the Pick 5. (1) FRAZIER HANOVER won’t get parked out from post one but I also don’t see him firing out here. He only needs a smooth trip to have a chance. Race 6: Non-winners 2 races or $20,000 life/Maidens draw inside - $50K GTD Pick 4 (3) MISS JUM JABBER sprinted home in 25 seconds with the wind at her back and was every bit as good as her stablemate Sunny Station, who will likely be the favorite here. Driver Pat Ryder was chill behind this Bettor’s Wish-sired youngster in her career debut and she could be ready to pop now. (7) TURN UP THE MUSIC just missed last time while beating the top pick; clear threat, even if Beckwith chose off, going with all the Takter horses tonight. (5) SUNNY STATION rolled home in a visually pleasing manner to start her 3-year-old season and you can expect she’ll be a player tonight. Race 7: Trackmaster 77.5 (NW L2/L6 79.60/80.27) or less Since moving into this barn (5) MR CONTESTANT has made seven starts – all at Yonkers. He won the three from inside posts and was no factor in the four from outside. Clearly the form is there despite finishing last most recently. I expect we’ll see some early speed from him in his Big M debut at age 11. (3) MASSIVE MATTER was a good second last week versus a horse that was most people’s best bet. (2) HOOFBEATS DE VIE couldn’t go last time but his prior form was good. (7) CHIPLOSIVE displayed no signs of making a break with hobbles added in his qualifier. Classy old guy looks to find himself and maybe the equipment is the answer. Race 8: Meadowlands Amateur Drivers Club 1 Pace - Pick 6 (8) DUDDIE’S LOR had multiple TM77 wins over this track in 2025, so he certainly fits here. Four of his last five starts have come from outside posts that have hurt his chance. There could be more here than meets the eye. (3) DUCK INTO THE NITE has also been victimized by outside starting spots. I expect we’ll see a more aggressive try this time around. (2) BIONIC went down the road in an MADC race two starts back, though this group is better. (5) WARRAWEE YANKEE is certainly capable given a clean trip. Race 9: Trackmaster 74.5 (NW L2 76.5) or less/Opt. $10,000 Clm. (6) PEARL HARBOUR N steps up again but is certainly sharp enough to handle it. I can see him picking up live cover with not much speed signed on from the outside of the gate. (5) QUEEN SUN RYSER picked up a nice trip last time but there is concern of a first-over trip in this spot. (4) GRACEFUL GALA should be heading to the top and her chances will be directly related to how much pressure she gets. (1) PATTYCAKE MOOSS won going away as the leaders folded last time. She could be overbet off a line that looks better on paper than it is. Race 10: Non-winners $7,500 in last 5 or 5 (NW L2 7) races life/TM 83.5 (NW L2 85.6) or less - $50,000 GTD Pick 4 (1) CALL OPTION has behaved in two straight starts and tonight he gets to take a sizable step down in class. I’d prefer if he drew towards the middle of the gate but there are no excuses regardless. (4) HOWLINGATHEMOON DK has been a victim of the way his races are shaping up lately. He can certainly get involved here at good odds. (3) KAZIO DK comes from Denmark for the same connections that gave us a big season from Antognoni in 2025. The qualifier was just ok but it is worth mentioning that he arrives with a much better resumé than #4 had when he showed up at the start of 2025. Race 11: $7,500 Claiming (9) BIZYS BEATLE is a sharp horse moving into a very sharp barn and getting a driver change to Ryder. That Herschberger chose the more logical (5) LYONS LIBERTY means our price will be higher. The latter is switching back into the Cushing barn and he is perhaps sharper and tactically has an advantage due to his early speed; one to beat. (3) CAMCO LUCAS has been right there each week but tends to hang in the stretch. Race 12: Trackmaster 74.5 (NW L2 76.5) or less (4) LIBERTY’S WILDCARD put in a nice winning mile when last seen here in this class two starts back. Four-year-old has a great win rate and is certainly the one to beat. (1) HALOA returns to the Big M at a reduced level. He could quickly perk back up. (2) CHAMPA BAY HALL went a decent mile off the bench and can build on that performance. [DRF HARNESS: Sign up for our FREE DRF Harness Digest Newsletter] Race 13: Trackmaster 68 (NW L2/L4 69/70) or less (8) HELEN BACK AGAIN could only get a tuck after leaving last time and then faced a hint of traffic before pacing home steadily. It wasn’t a bad effort and one she can build on versus an unreliable field. (2) CENTURY LIBERTY is probably going to be chalk here after finishing second in consecutive starts. That said, she’s failed as the favorite both times. (1) PHELGON was stuck behind dull cover a week ago. Inside draw should keep her close. (7) THANEEYA LURED Herschberger off my top pick and perhaps that means she’ll be firing out in this spot. This could be a spread leg in the Pick 4/6. Race 14: Trackmaster 71 (NW L2 73) or less (3) IM THE MUSCLE and (1) MASSTER BLUE are two veteran campaigners who have won many times over the years. Both are well-drawn and live players in a soft TM71 like this one. (9) JULA TACTICALSON continues to take money each week but doesn’t have the best gait and is a risk to break at any time. He could win but I’d want at least 8-1 to take a shot.
