WINTER MEET STATS: 183-42-30-28 / $311.60 (-$54.40) BEST BETS: 13-6-3-1 / $23.60 (-$2.40) SPOT PLAYS: 13-4-2-4 / $36.00 (+$10.00) BEST BET: BULLY BOY HILL (8th) SPOT PLAY: QUEEN SUN RYSER (9th) Race 1: Meadowlands Amateur Drivers Club 1 Pace - Pick 5 (6) ROCK ON LINE was much better in his last race but had no shot due to a slow pace. There could be some value here on this veteran. (4) MADELINE BLK JACK was part of the pace in a fast mile last time out. He should be heading to the top again and doesn’t seem to have much resistance to his inside. (3) LINCOLN BOULEVARD took a shot on the rim and that proved to be a fruitless move. I can see him pushing away with the hopes of working out a pocket trip. (1) MEET THE CREEPER comes off a nice mile. He only needs a clean trip to have a shot. [DRF HARNESS: Get Harness Eye PPs for this card] Race 2: Trackmaster 68 (NW L2/L4 69/70) or less (4) BELLA’S DREAM took four weeks off and returned with a much better effort. While she comes with the negative of no wins over the last two years, this is a very easy race if her form continues to improve. (3) CUTTING HUMOR finally draws an inside post after multiple races on the outside of the gate; early speed coming! (5) EA MUSHU has more wins in 2025-26 than the rest of the field combined. Race 3: Meadowlands Amateur Drivers Club 1 Pace - $82,301 Pick 8 Carryover (5) HASHTAG MONEY put in a big mile two starts back and then was a victim of circumstance last week. Hopefully he’ll be firing off the gate in this spot. (3) THAT DOG WILL HUNT has gone some tough trips from outside posts. The move inside should give him a huge shot and more options. (6) SHEZAFREAKLIKEME rallied well last time for a barn that has been showing clear signs of life over the last couple of weeks. Race 4: Trackmaster 71 (NW L2 73) or less/NW 2 races or $20,000 life/Maidens draw inside (10) GERONIMO TRIO IT adds Lasix tonight as he joins the Engblom barn. They’ve had success with horses coming in from these connections at The Meadows. (6) MY BIG KADILLAC was used hard to get the front and paid the price. The road to the front can’t be that adventurous this week. (2) MAXIMUM EXPOSURE is sure to take plenty of money off a convincing qualifier in his debut for the new barn. He can certainly win but I’ll fade him because of all the previous breaks and that he threw in some sketchy steps in the qualifier that don’t show up on a PP line. (9) LANDIA finished well last time; needs to find a way into the race. (4) FASHION FOREVER returns here at a lower level with a new driver. Race 5: Meadowlands Amateur Drivers Club 1 Pace (7) SEIZE CONTROL is in pretty good form and he’s a horse that can certainly perk up when in softer spots like this one. (4) PACK YOUR BAGS made an ill-fated decision to pull first-over into the speedball (3) FERDINAND A and got the expected results. A better trip can produce a more desirable result. The latter has been racing better of late and you know his game plan versus this suspect field. Race 6: Trackmaster 74.5 (NW L2 76.50) or less/Opt. $10,000 Clm. - $50K GTD Pick 4 (3) LOVE THIS BAR has some bad recent lines on his program but there is reason for optimism. He’s done well in higher classes at this track and reunites with Ginsburg. (7) BIG CHARLIE MORAN was raced like a good thing and certainly seemed like a winner before breaking in the stretch. If he brings that effort again and minds his manners, watch out! (1) DROP THE MIC does his best work down a level but remains sharp. (4) LABYAD BROS S goes for the hat trick tonight while stepping up one level. Race 7: Trackmaster 71 (NW L2 73.05) or less/Opt. $7,500 Clm. (2) SAULSBROOK FEISTY won’t have to work hard early in the mile and that should leave her with something left in the stretch. Last time she showed early speed and wound up first on the rim. (7) PEARL HARBOUR N has won two straight from by showing early speed and closing from the back; clear threat. (4) GUMBELL was used up in the pace last start and had nothing left late; drops. (3) ALMOST KAREN would certainly beat these if in good form. Can she rebound? Race 8: Trackmaster 77.5 (NW L2 79.60) or less - $20,356 Pick 6 Carryover (6) BULLY BOY HILL was bet heavy and delivered a very nice mile to be second last time versus a drop-down winner. If he has a similar effort on tap tonight then they are racing for second. (4) MASSIVE MATTER won his last start in this class and could be leaving the gate with some urgency in this spot. With Herschberger choosing #3, the price should be fair. (5) HOOFBEATS DE VIE has been very consistent of late. Race 9: Trackmaster 74.5 (NW L2 76.5) or less/Opt. $10,000 Clm. (6) QUEEN SUN RYSER looks to be coming off just an even mile but she most certainly had good pace at the end. I expect we’ll see a more aggressive try in start two for the new barn. (7) SWEET SANDY went a big mile on the rim and kept trying hard through the wire last week; sharp now and keeps Ahle over my top pick. (2) SO DIVA double drops in class after missing more than a month; ready for best? Race 10: Non-winners $5,000 (NW L2 $5,801) in last 5/TM 80.5 (NW L2 83.610) or less - $50K GTD Pick 4 (10) DOUBLE ACCOUNT is the class of the field and he is finally coming off a decent effort. In a race with a number of horses with questions to answer, he seems most likely to turn in a good mile. (4) AARDIES PEAK N wins when he feels like showing up with a top effort and he did so last time out; inconsistent. (1) ROCKET MAN HILL is certainly capable of getting a good check but doesn’t win enough for my liking. Race 11: $7,500 Claiming (3) THE WILL TO PLAY should get an easy lead this week and come away with no worse than a pocket trip. (6) LYONS LIBERTY is the other certain speed and a hot commodity at the claiming box. He’ll be put in play and have a shot if he doesn’t have to work too hard. (7) I’LL HUNT YOU DOWN and (9) LEAVE AND ROLL both have good form and deserve respect. Can they get into the race from the outside posts? Race 12: Non-winners 2 (NW L2 3) races or $20,000 (NW L2 $30,000) life/NW $31,055 draw outside (1) SUNNY STATION finished up full of pace in her morning trial and you have to like that it was her second straight week on the track. Chisholm chose here over (3) MISS JUM JABBER and that may be meaningful. The latter has the least appealing qualifier on paper but she was quite good and finished up with plenty left in the tank. (7) TURN UP THE MUSIC has been a very consistent player this year and might be overlooked a bit with all the new flavors on this menu. (2) SUNDOWNSOMEWHERE and (4) LOU’SBODACIOUSGIRL both finished ahead of the top pair in their qualifier but I’d want a good price on any to consider a wager. [DRF HARNESS: Sign up for our FREE DRF Harness Digest Newsletter] Race 13: Trackmaster 71 (NW L2 73) or less/Opt. $7,500 Clm./NW 2 races or $20,000 life (5) BRO OAK turned in a nice effort for his 4-year-old debut after missing more than five months of action and only getting one qualifier under his belt. Any small improvement would make him tough to beat. (3) CHASING CRYSTALS is very sharp now and should be more forwardly placed moving from post nine to three. (6) BACARDI has trip excuses for his recent failures. He’s capable of winning with a smooth journey. (2) ZLATAN gets a new driver. Race 14: Trackmaster 68 (NW L2/L4 69/70) or less (1) JUST MY MAMA couldn’t get involved last time as she dropped into this class but tonight she’s on the inside of the gate. Six-year-old loves this class and posted four wins and a number of seconds in the condition last year. (9) HELEN BACK AGAIN won in this condition three starts back and last time was stuck in all kinds of traffic that perhaps caused the break. (3) OAHU isn’t reliable on the win end but seems to get into the exotics every week. (5) CENTURY LIBERTY has done well in both starts since switching barns.
