Race 1: Meadowlands Amateur Drivers Club 1 Pace - Pick 5
(9) THNDRFRMTHETHRON N lands in one of the softer MADC events we have seen and he really wasn’t bad last time. You have to expect Glasser will fire out here and take a shot. (3) KISSINBYTHEBEACHES has missed a month of action but will likely be the post time favorite anyway. On paper he looks competitive but reality says he hasn’t won since last April. (4) FURIOUS BEACH lands a better post and should have a reasonable chance with a smooth trip. (7) CLOUDBREAK raced well last time and gets an interesting driver change tonight to Yogi.

Race 2: Trackmaster 71 Final - Survivor 7
(8) AMERICAN WAY powered by the leader last week and held sway easily. A similar effort would make him difficult to defeat. (3) SKYWAY BILLY is clearly sharp now and we know he’s capable of popping off a big mile when feeling good. (6) HOLD MY DRINK watched the top pick blow right by him but didn’t give up and fought through the wire; contender if he falters. (4) VEL LARRY deserves at least some consideration picking up “Hot Toddy” in the bike.
Race 3: Trackmaster 74 (NW L2/2L4/2L15 74.5/75/76) series
(1) BINGO BRAIN was parked for the opening three-eighths and came up empty when shown daylight late in the mile. The trip should be a bit easier from the inside against a field that seems to lack early speed. (4) FASHION CANTAB had a bit of a strange trip in the stretch as he ran into traffic a couple of times. He’s worth a look here at good odds. (2) CONNOR never saw the pylons a week ago; also moving inside.
Race 4: Meadowlands Amateur Drivers Club 1 Trot - Pick 8
(4) BACARDI had some late trot last week when he hooked wheels with a tiring rival and was taken out of contention. With no form on paper to speak of, we should get good value. (1) DRAZZMATAZZ and (7) MY BIG KADILLAC arrive from Freehold where they finished one-two last Saturday; both are threats.
Race 5: Trackmaster 74 (NW L2/2L4 74.5/75.05) or less
Western Canada standout (2) VIRTUAL HORIZON has three useful qualifiers under his belt to prepare for this low-level Trackmaster event that he qualifiers for due to racing over slower tracks that got him a low TM number. It’s hard to say how good he is but easy to notice the quality of the competition isn’t great. (8) MARGRITTE returns to the Big M at a reduced level and figures to be put in play. (5) HEART OF ROCK hasn’t missed the board in some time if you ignore the dq most recently for leaving the course.
Race 6: Non-winners $5,000 (NW L2 $5,501) in last 4/TM 80 (NW L2/2L4/2L10 80.5/81/81.65) or less - $50K GTD Pick 4
(4) STORMONT DIVIDE rode good cover and finished nicely to score at first asking for Team Burke. Four-year-old is certainly eligible to improve in his second start for the barn and second race in a month. (3) DYLAN THE GREAT has gone two strong miles since arriving on the east coast and he figures to be right there again despite the tougher competition. (9) MASSIVE MATTER should offer good value on the board despite winning his last two races in this class.
Race 7: Meadowlands Amateur Drivers Club 1 Pace
(1) BANK SEA hasn’t been super sharp of late but does take a key drop into the amateur ranks while landing a top pilot in the series. (2) TEXAS MIKI and (3 LACHIE MAGUIRE N are both in decent form while moving into new barns and switching from claimers to this MADC class. Either is capable of stepping up.
Race 8: Trackmaster 73.5 (NW L2/2L4/2L6 74/74.5/74.7) or less Series - Pick 6
(8) ROMA AMOR had a tough trip last time but seems to be in decent form. If she can work out a live cover trip second- or third-over an upset victory is possible. (6) BADDITUDE couldn’t be any sharper right now but it is hard to ignore that she comes home in 28 or slower every week. That has to nip her in the butt eventually and you know she’ll be favored here. (4) EILEEN’S WISH ran into stretch traffic last week and seemed to have a bit more in the tank. At this point she hasn’t proven herself on the big track so demand close to double-digit odds if you like her.
Race 9: Trackmaster 77-80 (NW L2/2L4 77.5-80.5/78.60-81.17) or less
(1) ODDS ON LAUDERDALE came off the bench to capture an amateur race here last weekend and now switches to the regular overnights. This guy has some class to him and really doesn’t face any killers tonight. (7) ER VEGAS has been racing well week after week and has the early speed to get into play from the left side of the gate. Beware a shorter than deserved price because of the driver change to Dunn. (5) SEEUINNASHVILLE A drops a notch and figures to be showing early speed. That said, this barn has a donut in the win column from 18 starts at the meet.
Race 10: Non-winners $5,001 in last 4/TM 80.5 or less - $50K GTD Pick 4
(6) WINDSUN TIARA is eligible to wake up in a hurry after four straight eight-hole starts on smaller tracks and Lasix being added to the equation. (1) SANTAFE’S APPETITE was better last time with Lasix added. Lachance trainees tend to wake up when they get class relief. (4) TWIN B SUNKISSED lured Miller over the top pick and two others, but that may just be barn loyalty to Burke.
Race 11: Trackmaster 74 (NW L2/2L4/2L15 74.5/75/76) series
(4) SOUTHWIND FROST did all he could but just couldn’t best the favorite last week after he made the lead at three-quarters in 1:27 4/5. This looks like a spot where he’ll take charge from the outset. (6) BROOKROAD MASTER has raced very well in two starts for this barn and you’ll likely get fair value again. (1) SHINKANSEN was in the perfect spot last time and came through. I’m not sure I want him this week at under 2-1.
Race 12: $7,500-$10,000 Claiming Handicap
(5) MONEYMAKEHERSMILE brushed to the front and quickly yielded for the pocket and then somehow got stuck in traffic and had to grab up late. This seems like a spot where she should fire out and perhaps sit a pocket trip. (9) SOUTHWIND DREDGE should keep his form for new connections after consecutive wins. (7) JK LUCKY CHARMS isn’t really on top of his game now but he’ll be leaving hard and could get lucky if they leave him alone on the engine.

Race 13: Non-winners $3,000 in last 4/TM 77.5 (NW L2/2L4 78/78.75) or less
(6) SIDE PIECE seemed a bit flat late visually but that was just as much due to the 27-second final quarter. She should improve in her second start off the bench and really doesn’t catch a sharp field. (5) VILLAGE JADE drops again in search of form for the Burke barn. (4) CAVIART CHERIE was a no factor off the bench but could certainly change tactics and fire out here; upset potential.
Race 14: Trackmaster 73.5 (NW L2/2L4/2L6 74/74.5/74.7) or less Series
(3) MISS ITALIA comes off a scratched-injured line which may scare some people away. Her lone prior start over the track was very solid. (9) MISS MAYCEE has been good in every start since arriving in New Jersey; post hurts tonight. (4) MILADY DENVER A is off a blowout win.
