Race 1: GSY Series - Pick 5
(8) R MADDY BLUE CHIP could be firing off the gate like he did last week in a field that seems to lack early zip. This barn has been very live in the amateur races. (3) KINGOFTHEJUNGLE is the one horse that will surely be leaving off the gate and shouldn’t have nearly as much trouble as last time. (5) FATHER SARDUCCI and (4) MIDNIGHT LIGHTNING are both threats to stay close to the action or sit mid-pack and pounce off cover.

Race 2: Toys for Tots Final for 2&3YO Fillies
(2) HEATBREAK HOTEL finished well from an impossible spot last time and now she picks up Dexter Dunn. I'm on board unless they bet her too heavy. (3) THAT’SMYTYPE need the race on a mile track last time to get down to speed. She could show more now. (6) SUPERBLY is clearly the one to beat now after the open-lengths win a week ago, but I'm not willing to jump on board at short odds.
Race 3: Toys for Tots Final for 2&3YOs - Survivor 7
(4) JULA MAGICIAN really had no chance of passing #3 last week after he got to three-quarters in 1:29. With nearly twice as much money on the line tonight, the pace should be more honest. Plus Callahan drives this week. (5) HEARTOFGOLD DEVIE was stacked up five wide into the first turn after leaving and broke on the turn. The post is better tonight and his start two back is good enough to win here. (3) SAN CRISTOBAL stole the race last Thursday. Don't take a short price.

Race 4: GSY Series
(3) DOCTOR BUTCH has been sharp the last two weeks and switches to a much more accomplished amateur pilot now. (4) CECIL CASANOVA was able to overcome post 10 in this series last week. Regular driver is forced to the sidelines here but Roy Marohn is a great substitute. (1) OUTRAGEOUS STORY got a bit of a bad steer last time as trainer Michael Russo was stuck at the back and drove into a crowd of horses. I wouldn't be surprised if we saw big early speed here. (6) ROCKABILLY CHARM is another getting a more experienced amateur in the bike.
Race 5: Non-winners $2,500 in last 5/TM 78 (NW L3/5 78.5/79) or less/Opt. $10,000 Clm.
(4) BULLVILLEKARLA looks to be in suspect form, but check out those bad post positions on the smaller half-mile tracks. Six-year-old has won here before and is down in class tonight. (9) PAPPY ROCKS is another visiting the basement condition and he adds Dunn to the equation; using. (7) FOR CHIPS SAKE comes off an impressive victory at Saratoga.
Race 6: Non-winners $14,000 (NW L3 $15,400) in last 5 or 5-7 life/TM 89 or less - $50K GTD Pick 4
(5) ALEXA SKYE raced back in just six days while shipping in from Hoosier and did well considering. Classy 4-year-old can certainly step up here and should be sitting in good position. (9) NOTORIOUS PINK has been firing out each week and seems likely to do it again; dangerous. (2) BEYOND WORDS N is a capable horse in this class given the right trip, but note Dunn chose stablemate (6) MAJOR OCCASION A.
Race 7: Non-winners $4,000 (NW L2 $5,000) in last 5/TM 81 (NW 2L5 82) or less
(2) JUXTA COWGIRL went a pretty good mile last time and picks up a more accomplished pilot this week. (8) ARNIE’S ANGEL drops down and could find some early speed here in a field that seems to lack that quality. (4) WATCH MY LUCK moves to the middle of the gate after an improved try last Thursday, though her finish was likely due to a fast early pace that set her up.
Race 8: Winners 2-4 (NW L3 5) or $50,000 (NW L3 $60,000) life - $7,654 Pick 6 Carryover
(5) GAMBLING ADDICTION flashed speed and finished second in a quick mile over the smaller track at Yonkers last time. The big question is whether he gets faster at The Meadowlands and is simply a 52 pacer here. (6) AS ALWAYS looked good winning last time and is the one to beat, though the trip worked out well last Friday. (4) TWIN B FIGHTER came up flat with Lasix added but sometimes it takes a start to kick in. (1) SIX DEGREES was no match for #6 a week ago. Can he go faster?
Race 9: Non-winners $10,000 (NW L3 $11,000) in last 5/TM 87 (NW L3/5 87/5/88.1) or less
(1) PAPPY GO GO raced very well upon his return to The Meadowlands when second behind the classy Dayson last week. He should have a huge chance in here and I may even consider keying him in the Pick 6. (8) HOCKEY HANOVER rolled to an easy win last time and is clearly the main danger. (2) VIC'S WINNER could be a sneaky player if finally ready in his fourth start back after missing a year. (7) STORMONT VENTOR is down in class for a barn that excels with that move and Dunn chose off #8 to drive.
Race 10: Preferred Trot Handicap - $50K GTD Pick 4
(6) CHIN CHIN HALL got unlucky last week when the pace was slow and his late kick wasn't quite good enough to give him a shot. It looks like the early flow should be quicker this time around. (3) NORTHERN EXPRESS should be firing to the front and if the outside horses let him be, watch out! (5) DUNBAR HALL stole the race a week ago and is too sharp to ignore.
Race 11: Non-winners $4,000 in last 5/TM 82 (NW L3/5 82.5/83) or less
There really are no standouts here and this looks like a spread leg in the Pick 6. (6) MY DELIGHT gets a slightly better post this week after just an even effort in the slop last time. He's as good as any in here with a top effort. (2) DENVER SEELSTER has key early speed to get into position to win but has only accomplished the feat once this year. (7) DOGFIGHT rallied well with no shot after chasing slow fractions on Saturday. I'd consider him here if the price is right. (8) CALVIN B knows his way to the winner's circle here; contender. (1) ALLGONOWHOA had no shot in his first start for these connections from an outside post. While he certainly has a chance tonight I fear he'll be overbet.
Race 12: $12,500/$15,000 Claiming Handicap
(7) BANK SEA had absolutely no shot from post 10 last week. Juan Cano trainee should be put in play this time. (9) RYCROFT N was huge last time in defeat and would seem like a must-use if you think he can repeat that effort. (4) INFORCE beat almost every horse in this field on Saturday and should offer fair value despite that victory.
Race 13: Winners 2-4 (NW L3 or 3YO 5) races or $50,000 (NW L3 $60,000) life
(7) DIVINE DEO was used early most recently as two horses to her inside also left the gate and came up short to a pair of fresher horses late. Let's give her another shot. (3) SILVER TAIL left for an easy tuck, broke and did well considering she was parked every step; don't ignore her here. (4) OFF THE RECORD and (1) SKYY finished a neck apart while beating most of these a week ago; obvious threats.
Race 14: Non-winners $2,500 (NW L3 $2,750) in last 5/TM 79 (NW L3/5 79.5/80) or less
(7) SEAL O'NEIL is a new addition to the Bongiorno barn that might not take too much action. If 11-1 fires a big mile, move this guy up. (5) BRANDON HANOVER raced well in his first start for this barn and seems like a nice fit here. (3) CASINO BAGS ANSO caught a tough foe in his two starts for the new barn. Maybe the track switch will help. (1) GOOD DAY MATE moves inside and adds a new driver; not impossible.
