BEST BET: BRIGITTE BI (11th)
SPOT PLAY: HENDERSON SEELSTER (2nd)
Race 1: Winners 2-4 (NW L3 or 3YO 5) races or $50,000 (NW L3 $60,000) life - Pick 5
(1) GABBY'S GIRL blew away cheaper foes in consecutive starts at Yonkers off the trainer change to Alexander. If she drops the expected time switching to the big track these are in trouble. (2) LOOKATMYART aimed high off the claim and couldn't deliver. This is a better situation for the mare. (7) SILVER TAIL and (6) SKYY finished one-two in this class last week and certainly deserve consideration.

Race 2: Non-winners $4,000 (NW L3 $4,851) in last 5/TM 78 or less
(3) HENDERSON SEELSTER couldn't get out of his own way for a stretch there and trainer Paul Stafford wisely elected to give him time to right the ship. Six-year-old has come back with a solid qualifier and has his favorite driver in the bike versus a soft field. (7) LOOK IN MY EYES shouldn't be faulted for two subpar races from outside posts at Yonkers. His last try here in June was good versus much better foes. (5) SWISS HOUSE ONFIRE finished ahead of #7 in his last two starts and will be a better price tonight.
Race 3: GSY Series - Survivor 7
(5) GO SANDY GO got away at the back from an outside post last weekend and passed horses while even late. She moves in a few slots on the gate and should be in play this time. (8) OUTRAGEOUS STORY came up a bit short last time after missing a few weeks of action. In a field that seems to lack early speed, this 4-year-old and (6) KINGOFTHEJUNGLE figure to have a say in the outcome.

Race 4: Non-winners $7,000 (NW L3 $8,000) in last 5/TM 80.55 or less
(4) HOCKEY HANOVER put in a credible effort after missing a few weeks in his first start for new connections. This is a much easier spot and he might just try to bottom out the field. Take note on the board to see if he is racing barefoot like last week because he is better that way. (1) HALLIAMA raced very well at huge odds with Lasix added last time. The price will be much lower but he certainly has a shot if the top one falters. (3) BIG RICH was used hard and tired in his first start for this barn; another shot.
Race 5: GSY Series
There appears to be a ton of early speed on the outside of the gate here and that could set it up for a closer like (5) BRUCE'S MAGIC. The veteran scored from off the pace two back and only needs some pace to be a player. (4) ROCKABILLY CHARM is another who is nicely drawn in mid-pack that should be coming off cover or shaking free in the stretch. (2) STOWAWAY HANOVER has made more this year than any horse in the field by far and I wouldn’t be shocked to see Picca try to gun to the front here and park them all. (1) R MADDY BLUE CHIP is a capable horse when he is having a good day.
Race 6: Winners 2-4 (NW L3 5) races or $50,000 (NW L3 $60,000) life - $50K GTD Pick 4
(6) TWIN B FIGHTER swooped past a weaker field at Dover last time and should only be helped by the addition of Lasix this week. Sophomore is as fast as any in here. (3) BETTERROCK burned plenty of money with an early break last week. He deserves a second look, especially since Dunn jumped off two other horses to sub for Joe Bongiorno on this guy. (4) COLONEL BAYAMA has been first or second more than 50% of his starts this year. (2) SIX DEGREES wasn't bad in his first start for Daley and could certainly step forward in a big way.
Race 7: GSY Pro-Am Handicapped by TM Rating
In a race where we try to figure out whether the horse or the driver is most important, as the best horses are outside with amateur drivers and the pros drive 1-5, we'll lean to the pros. (2) SWANCREDIT switches barns but should be able to keep his form for a start or two. This field is loaded with early speed potential and his rallying style could be just what the doctor ordered. (3) FIJI is perhaps a bit removed from his best races but should pick up his game picking up McCarthy this week. (10) INNISFALLEN may have been the favorite even with the amateur pilot if he had drawn better. Even so, this guy has a shot with the right trip.
Race 8: Non-winners $14,700 in last 5 or 7 races life/TM 90 or less - Pick 6
(8) REDWHITE N GOO has been very impressive in three starts over the track and the only question is why he hasn't raced in a few weeks. His best is better than these. (3) YANKS DUGOUT & (4) SYLVESTERAMERICAT have good early speed and should be in prime position if the top one doesn't fire for whatever reason. (7) MYSTICAL WYNN drops out of the Dover open and should be a fit in this class.
Race 9: GSY Series
I'm completely stumped by this amateur race and my opinion is very weak here. (2) FRANCO TRISTAN N was actually much better last week and Merrill should put him in play. (7) MCERLEAN drops in class. (4) PLUS ONE comes down from Maine in sharp form. (8) VENENO has the early speed to make the top and lured Joe Lee off the top pick.
Race 10: Preferred Handicap - $50K GTD Pick 4
(7) CHIN CHIN HALL blew past most of these last week and simply seems a bit too sharp to ignore. (5) GOTWUTEVERITTAKES has a good chance to line up second over behind #4. Bucci trainee has turned in a spectacular year. (3) DOUBLE ACCOUNT could be an interesting player if he gets around the two to his inside and sits a pocket trip.
Race 11: Non-winners 2 (NW L3 4) races or $20,000 life/Maidens draw inside
(5) BRIGITTE BI comes in from The Meadows in good form and might just be a step faster than this group at her best. (8) P L OLIVIA has big early speed and will probably play 'catch me if you can' here. (9) ALL THE TRUTH moves into the Burke barn, though that barn only went 2-for-19 last weekend mostly with new arrivals like this one. His lack of early speed is also an issue.
Race 12: Non-winners $10,000 in last 5/TM 83.9 or less/NW $1 in 2021
(8) P L NOTSONICE raced well last time versus better and while the outside post isn't ideal, it should improve the win price. (2) JUSTLIKEHIM comes off a convincing score for a barn that has been firing of late. (3) DAYSON is the class of the race, but the 8-year-old may need a start to face this kind after just two 1:57 qualifiers. (1) BAZILLIONAIRE is a capable horse, but one that doesn't win very often.
Race 13: Non-winners $14,000 in last 4/Winners 5-7 (NW L3 or 3YO 8) or $80,000 life
(4) MARSALA HANOVER took a leisurely stroll around the track last week in her first start since October 30. With a better post and the start in hand, she figures to show much more tonight. (3) NOTORIOUS PINK did the opposite of the top pick last time by going the aggressive route in her return from a mini vacation; hard to toss. (6) ALEXA SKYE has been steady yet unspectacular at Hoosier. She returns to a surface where she has won many times and figures to head to the front with Ginsburg at the lines. (1) SO MIKI HANOVER beat the 3 and 4 last week as the chalk, so logic would state she has a big chance.
Race 14: $7,500-$10,000 Claiming Handicap
(1) FATHER SARDUCCI exits the amateur races and picks up Dunn. I see him yielding early and making a quick brush to the front unless he's sitting the pocket behind (8) IN ROCK WE TRUST. The latter was a very sharp winner a week ago and a horse that you must consider. (6) ROCKIN RAMBARAN seems to finish in the money every week. (4) BROOKLYNITE comes off a confidence-building win.
