She takes a second crack at this level against a wide-open group tonight. (3) DUCK INTO THE NITE led into the stretch before she wound up third last Friday and moves in a couple of notches on the gate. (7) BETTE TINA was third against TrackMaster 68s two back and drops after one unsuccessful try against TrackMaster 71s. [DRF HARNESS: Get Harness Eye PPs for this card] Race 2 - MADC 1 Pace (1) COLE ON THE BEACH never got involved last Friday but was a good second from the pole position prior to that and gets Tony Beltrami back in the bike. (5) RONA MAE was second to a well-meant winner in a F&M TrackMaster Rating 71 event a week ago and competes for high-percentage connections. (3) GATSBY HANOVER looks like he's been facing tougher NW2's and NW3's out of town and drew well tonight off two bad posts in Pennsylvania. Race 3 - New Jersey Standardbred Development Fund 2YO C&G Trot *Survivor Pick 7* (5) TRILLION TIMES comes in off a third against open foes in a Kindergarten Series leg and should be sharper here as that was his first career pari-mutuel start. (3) JIM BEAM romped in a division of the Liberty Bell at Harrah's Philadelphia most recently and made the New Jersey Classic final earlier this year. (4) AMERICAN POWER tired off a first-over journey a couple weeks ago but shows a Grand Circuit victory out at The Red Mile on October 3. Race 4 - F&M TrackMaster Rating 74 (NW L2 76.5) or Less / TrackMaster Rating 77.5 (NW2 L4 79.5) or Less Drawn Outside Pace (9) TRUMPS GIRL will have to overcome a poor post, but this looks like a softer spot she's been in as of late and hopefully she'll be put in play. (3) ROMA AMOR steps up from the TrackMaster 71s but does so off a romping win where she drew off despite outside pressure. She also offsets the class hike with post relief. (4) LOOT moves in from the ten-hole to post four and owns a recent victory over NW3's at Harrah's Philadelphia. Race 5 - New Jersey Standardbred Development Fund 2YO Fillies Trot (7) WISHUPONASTAR DEO qualified for the Breeders Crown final last month and debuts for trainer Per Engblom here. (3) ISABELLA BI cruised in a division of the Simpson Memorial at Pocono most recently and was second when last seen at the Meadowlands on September 5. (1) MADAM CHEVAL backed up her second-place finish in a Grand Circuit event at The Red Mile on 10-4 with another runner-up result in the Kindergarten a couple of weeks ago. The filly she finished behind on 10-24 came back to race well in the Kindergarten final. Race 6 - F&M TrackMaster Rating 68 (NW L2 70.49) or Less / 3YO Fillies NW1 Race LT Pace *Pick 4* (4) PRINCESS AMERICA exits what look to be tougher races over at Yonkers since joining her current stable and gets to stretch her legs out on the mile track here. (5) CHEDDAR SHREDDER set a contested pace a couple of weeks ago and held on to finish third. That was an improved effort and she makes her third start back after a qualifier tonight. (7) PHELGON took a shot against TrackMaster 71 rivals on October 24 and drops this time. She's had plenty of success at the Meadowlands in the past. Race 7 - MADC 1 Pace (2) ALTA BLUES A has wound up first-over in two straight tries, so hopefully he can find a smoother journey here as we've seen he's capable of winning at the Meadowlands before. (6) WHAMMER JAMMER gets to move inside on the gate after three straight poor draws and came up just a neck shy of victory a week ago. (7) GOOD ROCKIN had some pace in the lane last Friday and gained ground in a fourth-place result. That may have been a signal he's coming back into form. Race 8 - F&M NW7500L5 (NJSO or NW L2 8250) / TrackMaster Rating 83.5 (NW L2 85.5) or Less / NW3100L5 Drawn Inside Pace *Pick 6* (3) SIMPLY PERFECT is a second-timer for trainer Ron Burke and exits stakes company over at Harrah's Philadelphia. I'll look for some improvement tonight and give her the nod. (6) A FEW CHOICE WORDS comes off a poor race at Yonkers but the fact she only missed a week is likely a positive. She won in the corresponding class to this one across the river on 10-10. (5) TH SUMMER LOVIN steps up again but her last two victories have been very impressive. Race 9 - TrackMaster Rating 71 (NW L2 or F&M 73.25) or Less / NW20000LT Drawn Inside Trot (7) FASHION FOREVER wound up with a difficult trip last week and tired but he avoids the ten-hole here and we've seen him do well before when he can trip out against blank fields like this one. (3) MASSTER BLUE has hit the board in three out of his last five efforts at this level and he moves inside on the gate from the six-hole to post three tonight. (2) DELPHI HANOVER comes in with back-to-back breaks, but his form in Canada was solid prior to that, and I think he could contend if he stays flat. Race 10 - TrackMaster Rating 68 or Less (NW L2 70.06) Pace *$50K Gtd. Pick 4* (3) ROCKABILLY CHARM lacks current form outside of a fourth against TrackMaster 71s on 9-13, but he's low enough on the class ladder where he could wake up at any point and win like we've seen in the past. (7) WHO SAID I CAN'T qualified fine up at Monticello for his comeback here and debuts for a stable that has a high-percentage out of town. (8) AEROSMITH HANOVER slides down from the TrackMaster 71 level locally and defeated TrackMaster 70s at Plainridge prior to that. Race 11 - MADC 1 Pace (3) SEIZE CONTROL closed well again in a third-place finish against TrackMaster 74.5 rivals on 10-25. He gets further post relief tonight and will hopefully be closer to the action. (5) ODDS ON SARA SARA couldn't hang on last week after she took command on the far turn, but it was still a solid performance and she hails from a high-percentage stable. (2) SUNSHINE'S FINEST was unable to rally against TrackMaster 71s a week ago but was sharp against that company prior to that and drew inside again tonight. (2) REMI LOU A hasn't made much of an impact since coming to the U.S., but I think she's been facing better out of town and hopefully she appreciates getting on the big track from an inside post. (3) HOLD MY TIARA seems to do better against TrackMaster 68s than 71s but she does move inside on the gate this week and was favored in her fourth-place result last Friday. Race 13 - TrackMaster Rating 68 (NW L2 70.06) or Less Pace *Hi-5* (3) LOCHINVAR AUSSIE meets up with most older rivals tonight and hasn't made a pari-mutuel start since back in late June, but he showed speed in his qualifier on 11-1 and raced well against NW1s at Pocono before he went on the bench. (2) HEZA REAL DIAMOND has had a lot of success at the Meadowlands before and debuts for trainer Yogi Sheridan. (1) VILLAGE BLUE CHIP starts from the pole position and drops out of the TrackMaster 71s.
