FALL MEET STATS: 250-79-43-36 / $536.20 (+$36.20) BEST BETS: 19-7-3-2 / $19.80 (-$18.20) SPOT PLAYS: 19-8-2-3 / $44.80 (+$6.80) BEST BET: TWIN B SUNKISSED (6th) SPOT PLAY: CHILLIN BYTHE POOL (8th) Race 1: Trackmaster 71 (NW L2 73.25) or less - Pick 5 (4) CHAMPA BAY HALL is a very sharp mare getting to drop down in company to the level of her last win because she is facing mostly boys. There is no reason to avoid her in this spot, though she is far from a lock. (8) RESOLVED comes down from Canada with fine form and plenty of big track success of late. Recent $17,400 online purchase takes on older foes but could very well be up to the task for new connections. (1) GOOGOO EYES rebounded as expected last week. He’s a big threat on the win end. (9) TAKEMETOCHURCH DEO makes his second start in this barn and improvement is expected. [DRF HARNESS: Get Harness Eye PPs for this card] Race 2: Meadowlands Amateur Drivers Club 1 Pace (2) ODDS ON SARA SARA went a brutal trip last week and paid the price. Four-year-old moves to the inside of the gate now and should avoid too much trouble. (5) QUEEN SUN RYSER has hidden form and just needs a smooth trip to threaten. (3) FRAZIER HANOVER will certainly be heading to the front and you know he’s going to get a big piece of this purse. (9) ROCK ON LINE is a capable horse given the right pace scenario. Race 3: Trackmaster 71 (NW L2 73.25) or less - Survivor 7 (5) HUNTERS GAL moves in a few slots on the gate and that could be key against this somewhat formless field. Mare is proven capable of upsetting the applecart in this class. (6) CUSTOM FIT moves into a new barn off a $13,400 online auction sale. There seems to be enough to work with here for new trainer Mackenzie. (1) C KAN TROT was rolling along earlier in this year but has since fallen on hard times. Perhaps the three weeks off has helped to freshen her up. (9) IM THE MUSCLE might be my pick from an inside post. He was up against it versus better last week and now he draws outside. I’m not sure he can fire out and have something left on the end of the mile. Race 4: Trackmaster 74.5 (NW L2 76.5) or less (4) MIZ CAPTAIN CRUZE is yet another online purchase ($15,000) and she looks to be a potential bargain. Filly has won eight of her 16 starts as a 3-year-old this year, all but one on bigger tracks. She enters a capable barn and seems to fit on pure speed. (1) CATNAP raced somewhat evenly from an outside post in her last try here. She moves to the inside now and might be a sneaky player off a decent Philly mile. (2) MS FRANCES ASSISI qualified back well and she’s clearly fast enough to win if ready to roll following more than two months on the sidelines. Race 5: Non-winners $7,500 (NW L2 $8,300) in last 5/TM 83.5 (NW L2 85.5) or less (5) SAINTHOOD makes his mile track debut and that comes with the unknown of how much time he may drop stretching out with one less turn. What we do know is that the form is there and this guy has been solid each of the last two years. (7) AARDIEBYTHEHILL N has won two of his last three starts and steps up a level tonight. This doesn’t look like the toughest group in the world, so he should be competitive with a decent trip. (1) CHOCO CHARLIE was super winning the Winter is Coming series at Pocono as he came first over and kept trotting. That said, he’s been here four times over the last couple of year in lower classes with no on-the-board finishes. (2) FIRST CLASS RULE has a win and a third in two starts here since joining the Burke barn. Race 6: Non-winners $7,500 (NW L2 $8,250) in last 5/TM 83.5 (NW L2 85.5) or less - $50K GTD Pick 4 (4) TWIN B SUNKISSED certainly seems to be dropping into a winning spot and notice that she got her career mark of 1:50 2/5 over this track (in this class) last year. I’d expect to see her on the move early. (7) HERS HUNGRY comes out of some pretty quick miles and while she hasn’t been great, she certainly looks sharp enough to handle this field. (3) GLITTERING HOPE has acclimated nicely to taking on older foes. Three-year-old was a good second here a few starts back. Race 7: Non-winners $5,000 (NW L2 $5,500) in last 5/TM 80.5 (NW L2 82.5) or less (6) ROCK MY UNIVERSE made his debut for this barn and wound up parked every step of the mile from post 10 last weekend. Four of his five wins in 2025 have come over this surface. (4) BEACON BEACH has turned in some good miles at Pocono recently and a quick look to his career record shows he’s capable of dropping time on the big track. (5) COVER BAND kept his act together last week and that makes two clean miles in a row if you count the qualifier. Maybe that will give Ahle the confidence to put him in play. Race 8: Trackmaster 77.5 (NW 2L4 79.5) or less - Pick 6 (9) CHILLIN BYTHE POOL comes off a good effort at Yonkers and if you dig deeper into her PPs, there is a win at this level back in September here. You can also find a number of lines where she shows early speed, including leaving in 26 2/5 over this track. (2) TENNIS QUEEN is clearly sharp now and that was a good effort despite the nose loss last time; adds Lasix. (7) ANIMATION is an obvious contender on the move to the Engblom barn. Race 9: Trackmaster 68 (NW L2 70.3) or less (3) WIGGLING JENNA may’ve finished ninth but was certainly better in her second start back from two months on the bench. Also note that she hails from a barn with eight wins at the meet while six other horses go for stables that are 0 for 140 here of late. (6) BRIGHTEN YOUR LIFE couldn’t handle a first over journey last week but turned in two decent effort in this basement condition prior to that. She may be the one to beat. (1) MYSTIQUE GIRL hails from one of the winless barns but does have speed and pylon position. I wouldn’t be shocked if she won. Race 10: Non-winners $5,000 (NW L2 $5,500) in last 5/TM 80.5 (NW L2 82.5) or less - $50K GTD Pick 4 (1) LISA LANE did the best she could off cover at Philly most recently but just couldn’t quite get there. I do think she is slowly rounding into form and will win either this week or next. (4) GOING AWAY scored off the bench for us last time at nice odds and there is no reason she can’t repeat in a condition she has been victorious in previously. (2) A FEW CHOICE WORDS gets in off the AE list and certainly fits nicely here as he drops in company and also owns some early speed. (9) BELLUCCI was trapped last on the cones and finished up willingly with no shot last time. That said, the outside post isn’t ideal and she only has one third in five starts here this year. (8) REMI LOU A is clearly the sharpest horse in the field, but she is moving up the class ladder again and gets a negative post shift. Race 11: Trackmaster 68 (NW L2 70.3) or less (3) CLASSIC FRANK had to wait for clearance from the pocket and raced reasonably well in his first start since June. If he improves a little off that effort, this field is ripe for the taking. (7) SAILOR’S SHADOW gets a key driver change and could perk up. (1) NEVER EASY Z TAM won in this class a few starts back. The big question is his readiness after missing four weeks. Race 12: Trackmaster 71 (NW L2 73) or less (6) I DREAM OF JEANIE won for fun in her debut for these connections and there is no reason to believe a repeat is unlikely. We are getting a new driver but perhaps that will help the price. (1) LADYZAR gets a new driver and an inside post to work with this week. (4) SPROUT should be firing off the gate and will likely be lining up behind the favorite to sit a sweet trip. (7) ALMOST KAREN is certainly capable in this class given a smooth trip and some pace to chase. [DRF HARNESS: Sign up for our FREE DRF Harness Digest Newsletter] Race 13: Trackmaster 74.5 (NW L2 76.50) or less/TM 77.5 (NW L2 79.50) or less draw outside (9) VELOCIRAPTOR is arguably the sharpest horse in the race yet we’ll get a nice price because the trainer is in the bike. (2) CRAZY SUPERSPORT came up short last time after missing three months of action. This guy hasn’t been a consistent winner in some time but seems to have drawn into a good spot. (7) SHE’S SPICY has missed eight weeks of racing with a couple of concerning “scratched-injured” lines. That said, she’s more than fast enough to win and here recent qualifier was solid. (4) LEXUS LEGACY makes his first start for the Burke barn on a big track. Prior to joining the team he was a winner up at Woodbine. Race 14: Trackmaster 68 (NW L2 70.3) or less (6) MAGA BLUES gets a condition change and while she faces older foes here, this group is certainly easier from top to bottom. (4) EA MUSHU has been racing well off easy trips and you have to think she’ll be hustled to the top here looking for another good journey. (7) WISCO HALF PINT was second in TM68 a week ago; moves outside. (1) THANEEYA is going to wake up sooner or later.
