Race 1: GSY 1 Pace - Pick 5
It is hard to love any of these horses, but (5) DOCTOR BUTCH could be heading to the front with the better post this week and there doesn't appear to be much early speed to his outside. I'm not sure what to expect from this driver but he has won 6 of 28 races in 2022. (2) SHEER TALENT gets some needed post relief tonight and should be in close attendance early. (10) J ROCKIN B closed well most recently from far back; another bad post.

Race 2: Non-winners $3,000 in last 5/TM 76.5 (NW L3/5 77/77.5) or less
(6) FLANAGAN DESTINY has a second and third in this class back in September and her chances have been compromised recently by bad posts. Four-year-old only has 3 career wins but faces a soft group. (1) TORKIL also gets major post relief and faces slightly easier as well; should be good in this spot. (3) LAWS OF MOTION is more likely to break than win. That said, his best beats this field.
Race 3: GSY 1 Pace - Survivor 7
(2) PETER PUMPKINEATER had absolutely no chance last time from post 10 last time. In another amateur field where none of these instill confidence, we'll take a stand with the veteran 14-year-old and the aggressive Sheridan driving. (3) IT'S RIGGED raced well on the rim last time. (9) MONEYORROSES gets an interesting driver change to Beltrami.
Race 4: TrackMaster 74 (NW L3/5/10 74.5/75/75.29) or less/Opt. $7,500 Clm.
Lots of good options here and we'll land on (6) CASINO BAGS ANSO, a gelding with good recent form who should offer value despite picking up a catch-driver this week. Smith rarely gets bet here but he is capable with the right horse. (3) THNDRFRMTHETHRON N is also getting a nice driver change and he's running a two-race winning streak to boot. (2) SVENGALI rolled to an easy win in this class two starts back. (4) DAKOTA JACK moves into a live barn and could get better in a hurry.
Race 5: GSY 1 Pace
(1) SCRAPPIN GOLD brings a big effort just about every time Marohn is in the bike in these amateur races. (6) ROCKABILLY CHARM raced well but was overbet last week; contender. (10) PRINCE ASTON hasn't been let loose yet since the claim but new driver Alan Charles is certainly capable of firing him out.
Race 6: Non-winners $7,500 (NW L3 $9,315) in last 5 or $1,400 p.s. in 2022 - $50K GTD Pick 4
(8) TOCCOA FALLS is so sharp right now and deserves the call. (3) ELEGANT DULIPIN FR has come up short in his first two starts on these shores but perhaps the addition of Lasix can get him over the top. (1) FIX-IT-UP is back at the level of his last win. (7) NYLANDER took plenty of air last time and paid the price. He can win given the right trip.
Race 7: TrackMaster 77 (NW L3/2L5 77.5/78) or less
Last week was another start where (4) CAPOZZO wasn't put in play. He came home in 26 3/5 with no chance of hitting the board. Moving in a few spots on the gate hopefully helps his early position. (1) GO WEST GO FAST came up big on the barn change and he's shown big miles in the past. (7) INCREDIBLE BADGER raced well two starts back in this class and could provide decent value here. (5) SUNNY AND EIGHTY makes the same track and barn switch as 4-4, so see how that one does and perhaps raise or lower this guy's expectations.
Race 8: TrackMaster 79.5 (NW L3 80) or less - Pick 6
(6) CC BANK will be a big price here but he was sneaky good last time as Miller kicked out the ear plugs and he finished in 27 2/5 from way back. With him missing all of 2021 and Miller perhaps just going through the motions to see what he had last time, perhaps we get a more aggressive steer here. (7) PAPPY GO GO is down in class and capable of stepping up. (3) ROMANTIC WARRIOR steps up a notch but clearly has form.
Race 9: Non-winners $7,500 (NW L2 $9,001) in last 5/TM 82.55 or less
You'll probably need to go deep in this final leg of the early pick 4. (8) GOT THE GOLD ships down from Canada with decent form and the ability to race well from on or off the pace. Filly is a clear fit in this class. (4) FACTORY GIRL couldn't last on the lead last Friday, a night where every horse that lasted on the front was a favorite or set slow fractions. She deserves another look. (1) ALWAYS B FIRST showed up with a big mile in her second start on Lasix. (6) COUSIN MARY is a classy mare who won in this class last time.
Race 10: Non-winners $14,000 in last 5 or 8 races life/TM 87.6 (NW L3 88) or less - $50K GTD Pick 4
(4) INAMINUTE HANOVER has been a very solid trotter north of the border with times that stack up very nicely with this group. Recent $87K Harrisburg purchase should acclimate well for new connections. (8) WESLYNN QUEST is way down in class and seems certain to be firing off the gate; hard to toss. (2) MUSCLEDOVER is another getting a new trainer and driver. The 27 day layoff is a concern but the raw talent is there if he is ready.
Race 11: Non-winners $3,000 in last 5/TM 79 (NW L2/L5 79.58/80.26) or less
(1) HARRY TERROR has some class to him and some may dismiss him due to the recent lines at Batavia. New trainer Fusco knows this horse is fast enough and takes a shot on the big track. (4) REVOLVER N drops and picks up a regular catch-driver this week. (8) NOME HANOVER came up short off the bench but was clearly better than he had been before the time off.
Race 12: Non-winners $3,000 in last 5/TM 76.5 (NW L3/L5 77/77.5) or less
(5) FOUR UNDER PAR dropped a level and raced very well last time. Mare visits the basement now and should prove tough to beat unless (6) GOTWUTEVERITTAKES decides to trot the mile and unleash his fury on this field. (4) SKYWAY TINACIOUS can make the front in this spot and get a nice piece, though she seems slower than the top pair.

Race 13: Non-winners $3,000 (NW L3 $3,300) in last 5/TM 76.5 or less
(7) BEST KEEPSAKE had a tough trip last time and paid the price. Four-year-old has never hit the board in 14 starts on tracks less than seven-eighths in size and now moves to his preferred track type. (3) ST LADS BIJOU raced well in her first start on Lasix but has now missed time. She's worth a look on the track. (4) LITTLE HONEYBADGER just missed in this condition last weekend.
Race 14: TrackMaster 74 (NW L3/5/10 74.5/75/75.29) or less/Opt. $7,500 Clm.
(6) ALL IT TAKES gets a big driver change here to Dunn and I'm expecting this guy to step up. (4) CHIEF OF STAFF had no chance last time and raced well two starts back; driver upgrade. (2) ALWAYS A PANTHER should come away close to the lead and be in contention. (7) ART SCAPING was flat after some time off; better now?
