FALL MEET STATS: 126-42-20-20 / $277.60 (+$25.60) BEST BETS: 9-5-1-1 / $14.40 (-$3.60) SPOT PLAYS: 9-4-1-2 / $28.00 (+$10.00) BEST BET: STONECOLDTREACHERY (9th) SPOT PLAY: COUNTRY DANCING (12th) Race 1: Trackmaster 68 (NW L2 70.3) or less - Pick 5 (4) HOUSE BLEND wasn’t bad facing older foes from post 10 last time. She moves to the middle of the gate now and may be able to brew up a win. (6) JUST MY MAMA is very much at home in this TM68 level and only needs a reasonable trip to have a big say in the outcome. (2) FUNNEIGH is a horse that isn’t as far away from a win than it perhaps seems on paper; adds Lasix; Boyd drives! (5) DUCK INTO THE NITE has the speed to make some early noise. [DRF HARNESS: Get Harness Eye PPs for this card] Race 2: Meadowlands Amateur Drivers Club 1 Pace (9) ODDS ON SARA SARA gets some serious class relief dropping into the amateur ranks. Four-year-old has the early speed to overcome the outside and my only concern is that this barn went 0-for-5 last weekend. (4) URBAN RENEWAL owns some sneaky form and is capable of firing off the gate from time to time. (1) THE OPENER chases very nicely and has picked up a bunch of on-the-board finishes in 2025. Race 3: Trackmaster 71 (NW L2 73.25) or less - Survivor 7 It is difficult to like any of these horses. I’ll take a shot with (4) LANDIA as she really hasn’t been bad in most of his races. It won’t take much of an improvement if any to win here and Dube might be able to get more out of her. (6) MASSTER BLUE has a couple of recent seconds in this class and you have to like that he owns early speed. He’s the uninspiring one to beat with just three wins in his last 73 starts. (10) FASHION FOREVER makes his second start back from a couple of months on the sidelines. Veteran is certainly capable if Chsiholm puts him in play. Race 4: Trackmaster 68 (NW L2 70) or less (2) MY WISH CAME TRUE got away slowly and was dull after missing a month of action. New driver joins the team now as he moves to the inside of the gate. This is a winnable spot. (2) MOONWARDS HANOVER is winless on the year but has put in a number of quality efforts; moves inside tonight. (5) BIG BAD BILL has been known to take some shots on the front and he could easily fire off the gate here. Race 5: Meadowlands Amateur Drivers Club 1 Pace (5) THNDRFRMTHETHRON N comes off some nice miles at Vernon and should be heading to the front here with a high likelihood that he’ll be sitting the pocket. Eleven-year-old has won here many times before. (1) ROCK ON LINE came back from the mini break with a nice win. He’s not usually fast away but shouldn’t be too far back from the inside draw. (6) FRAZIER HANOVER leaves the gate hard every week and Silva does very well in the amateur races. (4) GOOD ROCKIN is a huge question mark. He’s the best horse in the race when right but his form seems to have gone south. Race 6: Non-winners 2 (NW L2) races or $20,000 (NW L2 $30,000) life/2YO & Maidens draw inside - $50K GTD Pick 4 (8) SOFT LANDING didn’t get enough pace last time when returning from six weeks on the sidelines. There is plenty of early speed in here to set him up. (2) R CANDY takes on older foes but may be up to the task judging by recent form. (7) DELPHI HANOVER broke in her first start for this barn but there is every reason to believe she can go with these if Derue figures out the issue quickly. Race 7: Non-winners $5,000 (NW L2 $5,500) in last 5/TM 80.5 (NW L2 82.5) or less (3) TRUMPS GIRL really wasn’t bad last time after missing a month of action. We should see a more aggressive steer in this spot. (6) ABSOLUTE POWER just missed on the engine last time in this class and certainly is a serious threat once again. (8) LISA LANE took a shot last time despite missing a couple of months of action. She needs some pace help but can certainly win versus this field. Race 8: Trackmaster 74.5 (NW L2 76.50) or less/TM 77.5 (NW L2 or 3YO 79.65) or less draw outside - Pick 6 (2) HOOFBEATS DE VIE drops down to a more comfortable level and should be forwardly placed this time after a dull mile in his last. (1) GOOGOO EYES technically steps up in company but really doesn’t face that tough of a field and can certainly play with these. (6) ITSONEOFTHOSE has been racing pretty well lately despite drawing outside in recent starts. The only big negative is his career mark is only 1:57 as an 8-year-old. (4) KNIGHT ANGEL has been used hard and tiring when it counts. Maybe the trip will get a little easier this time. (9) BONDSMAN qualified well on the big track. Perhaps the surface switch will cure his issues. Race 9: Non-winners $12,500 (NW L2 $13,750) in last 5 or 9 races (NW L2 10) life/TM 86.5 (NW L2 88.5) or less (9) STONECOLDTREACHERY has been super in her last two starts and anything close to those performances would make her tough to beat. (5) TAKE YOUR PICK owns multiple wins in this class in 2025. (7) MIKI IN LUV had too far to come behind slow fractions at Yonkers last time; very sharp. Race 10: Trackmaster 71 (NW L2 73) or less - $50K GTD Pick 4 (3) SUNSHINE’S FINEST has earned twice as much as nearly every horse in the field this year and his eight wins are by far the best of the group in 2025. He’s hardly a lock but tends to race well at this level. (2) BIZYS BEATLE owns a big late kick when feeling good; needs right setup. (10) SPORTY BOB has early speed and good form; outside post hurts. Race 11: Trackmaster 74.5 (NW L2 76.50) or less/TM 77.5 (NW L2 or 3YO 79.50) or less draw outside (1) TRICKY WICKY gets a barn change and adds Lasix. If you see the other Chris Height horses perform well, definitely move this gal up. (7) PIRATE PRINCESS found early speed and just missed on the engine last time at Philly after a four week absence. Three-year-old lands in a good spot tonight but I have some reservations using a driver making his first start in North America. (8) ILLUSION SEELSTER stretches out on the big track tonight. Notice that she had a couple of nice efforts in NW3000 here last winter and that condition is on par with this one. Race 12: Trackmaster 71 (NW L2 73.57) or less (4) COUNTRY DANCING had a front hobble issue which definitely affected her gait and any chance at real success. Three-year-old drops a level tonight and draws well again. She can show early speed here. (8) ROMA AMOR came back from a couple of months on the sidelines and was stacked up fifth over with no chance to succeed. The outside post isn’t ideal but she’s good enough to win. (6) HOLD MY TIARA does her best work down a level but is way too sharp to ignore. (2) CATCH SOME SUN lured Herschberger off #8, so maybe the improved post is going to mean a much better effort. [DRF HARNESS: Sign up for our FREE DRF Harness Digest Newsletter] Race 13: Non-winners $2,500 (NW L2/L4 $3,200/$4,130) in last 5 (8) AARDIEBYTHEHILL N tried to go all the way on the front and didn’t exactly have an easy mile. That was his first start in almost seven weeks and more can be expected on the class drop here. (6) MUSCLE DAN broke on the first turn at Yonkers while leaving between horses after having no issues on the bigger track at Vernon in his first try with hobbles. He deserves a second look with hobbles on over this track. (2) THE PRINCE broke upon arrival but raced ok after that issue; class drop. Race 14: Trackmaster 68 (NW L2 70) or less (3) CRUNCHY only owns one career win but has shown nice improvement since joining this barn. Gelding drops to the basement TM level this week and should have every chance to succeed. (4) NEVER EASY Z TAM charged home in 26 4/5 to win in his last start in this condition. (5) BOBBY G comes off a bit of a deceptive line in his first try on Lasix. The pace that day was way too slow to provide him with a serious opportunity to shine. (6) LEAVE AND ROLL gets a better starting spot on the gate this week.
