Race 1: Trackmaster 68 (NW L2/L4 69/70) or less - $20,891 Pick 5 Carryover/$8,417 Hi-5 Carryover
(1) PHELGON moves to the inside of the gate and seems highly likely to get a very aggressive steer. (4) EA MUSHU exits the amateur series and just as important lands a good post. She’ll be close to the action as well. (5) SQUANKUM LADY doesn’t look extremely sharp of late but she certainly fits in this class.

Race 2: Meadowlands Amateur Drivers Club 1 Pace
(3) ROJAN’S WAY came up flat after missing five weeks of action. Hernandez seems likely to fire him out this week and could very well sweep the double. (1) DUNSAN HARRY has early speed and Yogi in the bike. That’s a good combination but this guy has been win shy. (2) BLUE COLLAR MAN hasn’t been on his game but he does have big early speed and is capable on his best. (5) HOT CAM is back at The Meadowlands. His last amateur try here was against tougher.
Race 3: Trackmaster 68 (NW L4 69) or less - $2,656 Pick 6 Carryover
(2) STONE COLD SAVAGE wasn’t quite ready after 35 days off but improved nicely in his second start back. Seven-year-old catches a weak field and should bring a big effort. (8) MY WISH CAME TRUE displayed a hint of late life last time. The post isn’t ideal and he’s still winless on the year, but I can definitely seem him getting a nice piece. (1) ROCKABILLY CHARM does his best work when he draws well and he won’t find a softer spot than this one.
Race 4: Trackmaster 71 (NW L2 73.25) or less/Opt. $7,500 Clm.
(1) FATHER TJ was off five months, broke, and then missed another four weeks. He finally comes back on normal rest and may be ready to pop a career best mile. (4) BACARDI lacks form but all his recent tries have come in the amateur ranks on smaller tracks. He could be a sneaky play here. (8) CHAMPA BAY HALL raced well after some time off. She may be winless on the year but she can play with this group. (6) REMARKABLE DE VIE took a shot in last from the outside; better post.
Race 5: Trackmaster 74.5 (NW L2/2L4 76.5/76.72) or less/Opt. $10,000 Clm.
(5) JOB CRUNCH comes of a nice confidence building win at Philly and seems to be well spotted for success in this class. (3) MAPLE SHADOW also comes over from PA and she gets nice class relief for a high win rate barn. (7) YOUCANCALLME DAISY might be in a bit softer than previous weeks. She was a decent third in her last start here in this condition. (9) SHEZAFREAKLIKEME moves up one level off a win. The early speed and form make her a contender.
Race 6: Non-winners $5,000 (NW L2 $5,500) in last 5/TM 80.5 (NW L2 82.64) or less/Opt. $17,500 Clm. - Pick 4
(1) STRUTSVILLE makes her second start back after a three-month break and this looks like a spot where she’ll let the dust settle and brush to the front. (6) BLUE POINT is returning from vacation herself and at least she shows a nice qualifier. If ready she can be a player. (3) COCCO PUFF POWER has early speed but is somewhat unreliable.
Race 7: Trackmaster 68 (NW L4 69) or less
(2) DIRT ON MY BOOTS was a seven-length winner in his last start in this class. I’m willing to ignore the recent dull effort since it came after 42 days off. (6) RISE UP DEO showed some late life in last. Maybe he is starting to figure things out late in his 3-year-old season. (9) CAPTAIN CARTER drops in class. Can he find the needed early speed to get into the race? (7) SPARTACUS BLUECHIP lands Herschberger over my top pick.
Race 8: Non-winners $5,000 (NW L2 $5,500) in last 5/TM 80.5 (NW L2 82.5) or less/Opt. $17,500 Clm. - Pick 5
(1) WALKWHILEYOURTALKN gets away from Yonkers where he has just one win in 13 starts this year. The big track suits him well, and while I’d prefer him down a level, this field isn’t that tough. (2) FEELGOOD VOLO improved in his second start for the barn when posting a decent third. Lasix goes on now and that is intriguing. (7) STEELWORKERS STORY & (8) FARAH TRIO IT are both win candidates if they elect to stay trotting.
Race 9: Non-winners $7,500 (NW L2 $8,250) in last 5 or 5 (NW L2 6) races-$50K life/TM 83.5 (NW L2 85.5) or less/Opt. $22,500 Clm.
(3) CANT SEE ME posted a solid mile in her debut for this barn after seven weeks on the sidelines. A similar effort makes her a contender and any improvement makes her very tough to beat. (5) HERS HUNGRY is one of a few in here dropping down the condition ladder. She owns plenty of early speed and should make her own trip. (8) GOING AWAY also could be firing hard to the front switching from the small track to the Big M. (6) ELEGANT A comes out of the same race as #5 and only finished a couple of lengths behind that one. (2) PRIDEFUL gets post and class relief; trip threat.
Race 10: Meadowlands Amateur Drivers Club 1 Pace - Pick 4
(4) GOOD ROCKIN was handled conservatively from an outside post last weekend. That won’t be the case tonight as Yogi will have him in play. (5) STORM THE COURT also moves inside, and we know he has big speed off the gate; dangerous despite owning just one win this year. (3) DUCK INTO THE NITE hasn’t been bad in her last couple of starts. If the top two don’t bring their best, she can contend for a big piece.
Race 11: Trackmaster 71 (NW L2 73.05) or less/Opt. $7,500 Clm. - $3 Pick 3
(2) ROSE RUN ASHLEE has been on quite a roll up at Vernon Downs and now makes her Meadowlands debut. Four-year-old seems up to the task and could offer value with this driver. (1) PARTY CRUISER took tons of air and kept fighting when second last week. She looks like the horse to beat. (10) QUEEN SUN RYSER was even with an amateur pilot last time. If she can get into the race from post 10, a win isn’t out of the question.

Race 12: Non-winners $2,500 (NW L2 $3,000/L5 $4,000) in last 5 - $5 Double
(7) BEAT COP lacks obvious form but really hasn’t been that bad. Five-year-old drops into his comfort zone tonight and should get sharp in a hurry. (8) SPIRIT OF STLOUIS N & (5) MUSCLE FACTORY A hail from the same barn and while neither has been racing well, both are capable versus this field.
Race 13: Trackmaster 68 (NW L2/L4 69/70) or less
(4) HOLD MY TIARA is another exiting the amateur races on smaller tracks and lands in the basement Trackmaster condition. She’s no lock but clearly a contender. (3) GIRL ALMIGHTY has won her last two races in this class at good prices. You’re likely looking at closer to 5-2 in this spot versus the 18-1 and 7-1 previously. (7) HELEN BACK AGAIN got second in this class a week ago. Mare will likely be firing off the gate here.
