MEET STATS: 41-13-6-7 / $52.80 (-$29.20) BEST BETS: 3-3-0-0 / $10.80 (+$4.80) SPOT PLAYS: 3-1-1-0 / $4.20 (-$1.80) BEST BET: BANK SEA (9th) SPOT PLAY: MIRACULOUS DEO (7th) Race 1: Meadowlands Amateur Drivers Club 1 Pace - Pick 5 The Meadowlands returns from hiatus with a head-scratching amateur event to test your handicapping prowess. (1) HARRY HANOVER has one of the better amateur pilots and should appreciate the return to the big track. (8) KISSINBYTHEBEACHES comes off a pair of throw-out lines at Freehold and could easily have a big mile on tap for owner/driver Kleinhans. (3) MASK ON MASK OFF was a good second when last seen here in this class. [DRF HARNESS: Get Harness Eye PPs for this card] Race 2: Kindergarten 2YO Colt Trot (4) MOSQUITO raced very well in the NJ Classic behind Sig Sauer who has moved on to the Breeders Crown. Perhaps he didn't care for the Red Mile; back home now. (2) FLYING KRONOS S already has a pair of second in this class; clear player. (1) THINKER MONKEY seems to lack dynamic speed but he's steady as they come as far as trotting with the field. [DRF BETS: Wager on tonight's Meadowlands card at DRF Bets.com!] Race 3: Non-winners $3,000 in last 4 or $1 in last 2 starts - Survivor 7 (2) CHILLIN BYTHE POOL hasn't done much out of town since the track closed but did post her career-best mile here in early September. This looks like a great spot for her. (7) SHAKE IT TWICE didn't fire in her first start for this barn but certainly deserves a second chance moving back to the big track. (1) SEZANA N is going to attract attention on the class drop but 8-year-olds with a lifetime mark on a half are hard to back on a mile track at a shorter price. Race 4: Kindergarten 2YO Filly Trot (2) INTERNATIONALMODEL moves to a new high-profile barn in the hope that Takter can right the ship with this filly. Her lines show enough that you can see there is talent. (7) HONEY’S SWEET has been close in most of her starts and she is clearly heading to the front. (3) KINESIOLOGY made a nice move in her career debut before ducking behind the winner and chasing that foe home; more now? Race 5: Meadowlands Amateur Drivers Club 2 Pace (2) I’M BURLINGTON N has missed over a month but is the type of horse who will likely benefit from the time off. His best is best, and as long as you get fair odds, I'd jump on board. (4) SEEUINNASHVILLE A comes in from Monticello sharp and is no stranger to the winner's circle here. (6) FERDINAND A hasn't been seen in six weeks but always guns to the front and tends to hold on for big shares. Race 6: Kindergarten 2YO Colt Pace - Pick 4 (8) SOLAR SOLUTION is a horse I've always liked who hasn't delivered quite enough in his nine-race career. His lone win came with Kakaley in the bike and look who is listed tonight. (1) CRUSH KILL DESTROY just picked up a second at huge odds in the Ontario Super Final against better than he faces here; must use. (3) TWIN B LOUDACRIS has been stuck in outside posts versus better lately. We'll find out if he has anything in the tank tonight. Race 7: Kindergarten 2YO Filly Pace (1) MIRACULOUS DEO hasn’t thrown in any bad races in some time and her finish positions have been more due to circumstance than anything else. She could offer some value. (6) SARASOTA HANOVER adds Lasix and clearly looks like the best filly on paper. That said, her victories always seem to come off good trips, so a short price isn't ideal. (8) GIFTED ONE went as fast as she ever has last time but the competition was too good. Expect early speed here and a strong performance. (11) TARRIFIC has to manage from the second tier but certainly has the talent to win. Race 8: Kindergarten 2YO Colt Trot - Pick 6 (7) BRYANT BROS S comes off a nice win at The Red Mile and could be the horse who elects to take command early in this field; driver change doesn’t hurt! (3) WINTER SOLDIER can charge home off a helmet and with some talent to his inside the trip could work out. (2) DUKE OF WALNER looked special at the start of the year but hasn't been able to put it all together. I can see him needing a start after missing four weeks. Race 9: Meadowlands Amateur Drivers Club 1 Pace (1) BANK SEA tends to shine in the MADC 1 class and he's perfectly spotted inside so he can get away mid-pack as others gun to the front and pounce late. (6) CAMLACHIE CHROME found new life last time after taking some time off. He picks up top amateur catch-driver Joe Lee here. (5) SUNSHINE'S FINEST won his last start in this class. He has excuses for all his recent failures, including last time when he got caught in a very fast 1:53 4/5 mile at Freehold. Race 10: Kindergarten 2YO Colt Pace - Pick 4 (6) T H TYSON is a great value play. He can fire off the gate or race from behind. While he has missed some time, having a pair of qualifiers says he is ready. (4) FASNACHT HANOVER is another horse I've been waiting to see get a more aggressive steer and perhaps tonight is the night as he gets clear class relief. Though Marcus Miller tends to be more passive, so maybe not. (1) COURTSHIP finished was ahead of the top pick last time and is clearly the one to beat despite a winless record. Race 11: Fall Harvest NW $3,000 in last 4/TM 77 or less/Opt. $12,500 Clm. (4) BEACH DREAMZZZ gets trainer and drivers changes plus she moves to the big track, which can only help her cause as a horse that does break from time to time. (3) DISTANCE LEARNING has been racing well but did come up short here in early September. (6) ME THREE seems to have her act in place now after a good mile at Freehold. You could get good value on an improving horse. Race 12: Kindergarten 2YO Filly Trot (1) PAULINA HANOVER should be able to push away enough from the pylons to get into good position in the top four and have a chance to pounce late at fair odds. (8) SLIP SLIDING AWAY won her last Kindergarten appearance and was also second in the PA Sire Stakes final. She certainly has the credentials to win if not compromised by the pace scenario. (9) GLAMOROUS HANOVER hasn't been on the board a lot but has been right there a number of times in the stretch. If she offers her usual huge price she'll be worth considering. [DRF HARNESS: Sign up for our FREE DRF Harness Digest Newsletter] Race 13: Fall Harvest NW $3,000 in last 4/TM 77 or less/Opt. $12,500 Clm. (2) SMART AS HILL drops to the basement here off a decent mile and should have every chance to win. (7) ZLATAN and (8) FASHION CANTAB are two winless horses on the year but both have early speed and either could steal this race or hang on for a big piece. Race 14: Meadowlands Amateur Drivers Club 1 Pace (8) TAKEITTOTHEFACE should be able to gun to the top and work out a good trip against a somewhat dull-looking field. (6) ROBBIE BURNS N is a new arrival for Quevedo/Beltrami that seems to be in the right spot. (5) CENTURY FURY has been stuck in outside posts. Maybe this is the week he is put in play. (2) PAPRIKE BLUE CHIP is in better form than it seems on paper and his price should be high.
