Meadow Breeze pointed for Princess

Meadow Breeze, the Grade 1 Matron winner who is now based at Delta Downs, is being pointed for the $300,000 Delta Princess there on Dec. 1, said her trainer, Carl Deville. Meadow Breeze won the prep for the race on Nov. 3, in the $100,000 My Trusty Cat. It was the first time the filly, who is 2, had started around two turns.

"Everything we've asked her to do so far, she's done it," said Deville.

* Meaux Power brings good company lines into Friday night's fourth race, a first-level allowance for 2-year-olds at one mile. He was fifth last out to Going Ballistic in the $100,000 El Joven at Retama Park in September, and since that race Going Ballistic has won the $100,000 MEC Mile at Remington Park. Meaux Power, who is trained by Keith Desormeaux, was second in an allowance at Retama in August behind Eldon's Effort, the eventual blowout winner of a stakes at Zia Park.
