3. Generic Mark |

A 10-race Sunday card that follows yet another Rainbow forceout Saturday is expected to be run with thundershowers possibly moving into the area and temps in the mid-70s. The 1 o'clock ET opener would have fit quite well in the previous day's Rainbow sequence, i.e., it's one of those 2-turn turf jumbles with an oversubscribed lineup of low-level maiden-claimers; turning to NOBLE MARIA to benefit from her badly needed last out for $20k in getting an overdue job done for the former Chuck Simon asst. Susan Ditter and the 5-lb. bugboy. In a similar vein, NANIE'S TREASURE also stands to improve noticeably after getting one following a lengthy layoff. On the far outside, the Rusty returnee GENERIC MARK goes for a first tag after some decent '19 showings. |

1. Apache |
2. Three Deep |
3. W W Candy |
One of racing's enduring paradoxes is speed that fizzled going short can dominate when stretched out. That's the theory in calling the rail-drawn APACHE the day's best when going this one-turn mile; class drop plus Saez plus the two learning experiences can make this homebred Fla.-bred very tough to catch here. THREE DEEP comes the obvious threat after having run 2nd twice already at a slightly higher level, while W W CANDY adds Irad as an obvious consideration. |

1. Palace Two Step |
2. Nilestar |
3. Sugar Bolt |
Seems there's a lopsided amount of early gas in this interesting turf dash for N3L fillies and mares, so it's to the advantage of PALACE TWO STEP and Juarez in settling into a smooth early rhythm before making her move; lots of different ways this one could unfold. NILESTAR also could be closing stoutly after the quick pace takes its toll; the A.Sanchez stable continues to jump up with the occasional surprise. SUGAR BOLT has a hint of class to help overcome the 5-month layoff. |

1. More Than Usual |
2. Consilium |
3. Castillete |
Defaulting to Saffie and the class-dropping MORE THAN USUAL in a turf mile for low-end mdn.-claimers; grass-bred colt liable to get away quickly from his outer post when stretching out from that $25k sprint. CONSILIUM was part of a cavalry charge when registering his 4th runner-up finish; been pretty good at filling out the exacta, huh. CASTILLETE can lumber along for a part. |

1. La Tres Jolie |
2. Fiamma Mamma |
3. I'm That Bird |
LA TRES JOLIE goes turf-to-dirt when dropping in class, a combination that makes her quite the possibility in this first leg of a brand-new Rainbow 6; looking for Saez to save ground while spying the earlier goers in earnest. The two outside fillies, FIAMMA MAMMA and I'M THAT BIRD, both figure as contenders with their best. |

1. Sweden |
2. Carolyn's Smile |
3. Jeanie's Angel |
Both times SWEDEN has been tried around two turns, the results have been ugly, but otherwise, the Arindel homebred has been competitive with these state-bred types; eligible to come and get CAROLYN'S SMILE, who'll be out there winging on this stretchout to 7 panels. JEANIE'S ANGEL ran okay in her debut last month and now makes her first start for Fawkes. |

1. Shared Legacy |
2. Quarky |
3. Sturgeon |
That was a breakthrough victory last month for SHARED LEGACY, a full brother to the great Shared Belief, and now Rosario sees fit to take over for the still-injured Paco; given all the opposing speed signed on here, the steady kick he's developed could serve him well in his first try vs. winners. QUARKY could be quickest of the quick when favorably drawn in the open-air outer box; Okie-bred is more dangerous than his 4/16 return suggests. STURGEON, back in for a realistic tag, sure knows his way around the local course, having compiled 5 wins and 5 seconds here. |

1. Yodel E. A. Who |
2. Fortune Cookie |
3. Hy Riverside |
Disappointing effort at 7-5 in that tough 2x allowance by YODEL E. A. WHO not enough to dissuade coming right back to him for this open $50k tag; winter's frustration might all come pouring out when finding himself in a comfy spot here. FORTUNE COOKIE now gets Irad when returning as the beaten fave in this same kind of spot; capable enough. HY RIVERSIDE has been meeting some real bears lately; can loom much more a presence here with two starts under his belt. |

1. Frosted Grace |
2. Where Paradise Lay |
3. Fuel the Bern |
Heart-breaking defeat to the Pletcher swiftie Soldado points out FROSTED GRACE, whose tactical ability should serve him well as he tries once again to crash through the 2x barrier; well-timed run can put him in a picture again. WHERE PARADISE LAY seems a timely acquisition for Walsh, who doesn't claim too many these days; repeat of latest makes him a contender. A regrouped FUEL THE BERN and a steady WHYRUAWESOME figure on the featured fringes. |

1. Quijote |
2. South Sea |
3. Front Loaded |
The old class horse QUIJOTE gets Irad, an outer post, and a snugly-fitting $35k tag after surely needing his futile-chase effort behind a run-off winner at the end of the championship meet; all set for a return to the promised land to conclude the day's proceedings. SOUTH SEA was the beaten favorite over sloppy going in this same kind of race three weekends ago; well-traveled veteran now repping the Saffie barn. FRONT LOADED, another classy type, comes well-drawn in the outside box when liable to give hot pursuit. |
