Majestic Dunhill continues love affair with Monmouth turf

Majestic Dunhill remained perfect over the Monmouth Park turf course on Saturday, when he rallied from off the pace for a 1 1/2-length win over Like What I See in the $60,000 My Frenchman Stakes.
It was another three-quarters of a length back to Reed Kan in third.
The My Frenchman was a 5 1/2-furlong turf race for 3-year-olds.
Majestic Dunhill ($5.20) was favored off a first-level allowance win on the Monmouth lawn June 23. He settled behind a trio of rivals Saturday, with Warrior Rose setting a pressure pace into the later stages. Majestic Dunhill emerged from behind a wall of horses in the stretch and went on to cover the distance on firm ground in 1:02.35.
There were no fractional times available.
Joe Bravo was aboard the winner for trainer George Weaver.
Majestic Dunhill was winning the first stakes of his career. He is a son of Majesticperfection and races for R. A. Hill Stable.
