Macho Uno moving to Kentucky

Glenye Cain Oakford|Oct 29, 2007
Macho Uno, whose first crop of 2-year-olds this year included Grade 1 winner Wicked Style, will relocate from Frank Stronach's Adena Springs South in Florida to Stronach's Adena Springs Kentucky division.

Macho Uno, currently ranked sixth among first-crop stallions in North America, also will get a fee hike from the $12,500 he stood for in 2007 to $20,000 in the coming breeding season.

Macho Uno, a son of Holy Bull and the Blushing Groom mare Primal Force, won the 2000 Breeders' Cup Juvenile and was voted juvenile champion that year. He has sired a dozen juvenile winners of 2007, and his stakes performers also include dual stakes winner Swifty Victress and Canadian Grade 3-placed Cool Gator.
