Lovely Leean took advantage of a ground saving trip under Orlando Mojica to win the $88,350 Indiana Stallion at Hoosier Park on Saturday afternoon. Trained by Ricky Short, Lovely Leean was kept on the rail and was back early. Mojica got through along the rail in the stretch and Lovely Leean drew clear late to win by 1 1/2 lengths. The favored A little Order led late, but finished second, four lengths in front of Cindy Sweet Cindy in third. The running time for the full field of Indiana-bred and -sired 2-year-old fillies in the Indiana Stallion was 1.13.60. Lovely Leean returned $33.40 to win.
