Louisiana Stars of Tomorrow catalog now online

The catalog for the Stars of Tomorrow 2-year-olds in training sale, hosted by Evangeline Downs and the Breeders Sales Company of Louisiana, is now available online with 93 entries.

The one-day sale will take place Monday, March 16, at Evangeline Downs in Opelousas, La. The pre-sale under-tack show will be held at the racetrack on Saturday, March 14.

Horses that are cataloged in the Stars of Tomorrow sale and perform in the breeze show will be eligible for the $75,000 Evangeline Downs Star Stakes for male alumni and the Evangeline Downs Starlet for female alumni. The six-furlong races will be held Saturday, Aug. 29 to close out the track’s stakes calendar.

Kentucky sires represented by juveniles in the catalog include Artie Schiller, Drosselmeyer, Even the Score, First Samurai, Ice Box, Nobiz Like Shobiz, Paddy O’Prado, Parading, Regal Ransom, Successful Appeal, and Tale of Ekati.

Louisiana-sired 2-year-olds in the catalog include offerings by Behindatthebar, Classic Alliance, Closing Argument, Custom for Carlos, Due Date, D’wildcat, Flashy Wise Cat, Forefathers, Gold Tribute, Greeley’s Galaxy, Half Ours, Ide, Interactif, Lampedusa, Lion Tamer, Mauk Four, Ole Rebel, Private Vow, Proudinsky, Run Production, Saint Afleet, Shermanesque, Smooth Air, Time Bandit, Tiz the One, and Yankee Gentleman.
