Longshot Friday winners lead to $489,379 Breeders' Cup pick six carryover

ARCADIA, Calif. – Three longshot winners in Friday’s pick six sequence, capped by Storm the Court’s 45-1 upset in the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile, produced a $489,379 carryover into Saturday’s Breeders’ Cup card at Santa Anita.

No one picked six in a sequence spanning races that included victories by Tap Black at $30 in race 4, Four Wheel Drive at $5, Structor at $12.60, British Idiom at $7.40, Sharing at $29.60, and Storm the Court at $93.80. Five winners paid $2,878.70 on a $1 ticket, the bet’s base amount.

Saturday’s pick six here covers races 7 through 12, which are the Filly and Mare Turf, the Sprint, the Mile, the Distaff, the Turf, and the Classic. There is a mandatory payout on the wager even if nobody picks all six winners correctly.
