Supermason moves back into the overnight ranks for the first time since last October in Friday night’s fourth race at Lone Star Park. He also will be switching to turf off a win in the track’s $50,000 Premiere Stakes.
The race Friday will be run at a mile. It is for 3-year-olds and up. Others set to start include stakes winners Solitary Ranger, U S Officer, Sky Flight, and Thetrailerguy.
Supermason is a five-time stakes winner. He is making a rare turf appearance, and last meet he set a course record in a 7 1/2-furlong race at Lone Star, covering the distance in 1:26.93.
Lindey Wade has the mount from post 7.
Also on the card, Bully Dos, a 2-year-old half-brother to Grade 3 winner Promise Me Silver, debuts in the fifth race.
