Lone Star Park track report

The under-tack show for the Fasig-Tipton Texas 2-year-olds in training sale will be held Sunday at Lone Star Park, starting at at 10 a.m. Central. There are 264 horses cataloged to this year's auction, which will held Tuesday beginning at 10 a.m. in the sales pavilion located in the stable area at Lone Star.

* Lone Star's 67-date meet will begin on April 14, and the Charlie Daniels Band will perform after the races on April 16.

* The Racetrack Chaplaincy of Texas is offering two broodmares for sale as part of a fund-raiser, and each sells with a breeding to Claudius, sire of WinStar Derby winner Hi Teck Man. Interested parties can contact Sam Spence, the chaplain at Lone Star.

* Lone Star has awarded $60,000 to 18 different charities serving the general public in its hometown of Grand Prairie, Texas.
