We had a good day Sunday. Our bankroll play, Smokeyjonessutton, was scratched. That leaves one more chance to upgrade the week #2 festivities from horrible to just really bad.

Mister Supremo returned from a layoff of just over four months and won back-to-back sprint races at Calder in May. In terms of figures, those were the best efforts of his career by far, and he has been freshened up again after stumbling at the start of a minor stake in mid-June.

Mister Supremo is 2 for 2 at Monday's six and one-half furlongs, and has the tactical speed to sit a good trip under apprentice Julien Leparoux.

The bet: $50 to win on Mister Supremo.
