Tom Keyser Mr Speaker is among the 11 3-year-olds expected for Saturday's Grade 3 Lexington at Keeneland.
LEXINGTON, Ky. – Although it almost surely will have no impact on the 140th Kentucky Derby, there still are 10 Derby qualifying points available to the winner of the Grade 3 Lexington Stakes on Saturday at Keeneland, where a field of 11 has been drawn for the 1 1/16-mile Polytrack race.
From the rail, this is the field for the Lexington, which goes as the ninth of 10 races:
Mr Speaker, Solitary Ranger, Dynamic Impact, Poker Player, Z Lucky, Divine Oath, Ami’s Holiday, Ride Away, Morning Calm, Supermonic, and Global Strike.
Z Lucky, trained by D. Wayne Lukas, and Supermonic, trained by Todd Pletcher, both were supplemented for a $15,000 fee.
Global Strike and Dynamic Impact are cross-entered in Saturday's Illinois Derby at Hawthorne.
