Lena Love came from off the early pace to rally into the stretch and draw off to a 12 3/4-length win in the $75,000 ITOBA Stallion Season Fillies Stakes at Indiana Grand on Wednesday. Trained by Bob Gorham, Lena Love was kept in fifth in the one-mile race for 3-year-old fillies whose sires’ seasons were sold at the ITOBA auction. She shot to a seven-length lead in upper stretch under Albin Jimenez. The running time over a fast track was 1.38.71, and Lena Love returned $12.60 to win. Best Memories was second, 2 3/4 lengths in front of  Cantico in third. In the Paul Tinkle ITOBA Stallion Series event for 3-year-old males, Hoosier Neighbor under, Ricardo Santana Jr., needed the length of the stretch to get by Downtown Kid and win the one-mile race by a half-length. Trained by Mike Lauer, Hoosier Neighbor finished in 1.39.92 and returned $8.40 to win. Downtown Kid was second by a head over Big Chance in third.
