Leinster heads new additions to roster at Pleasant Acres Stallions

Joseph and Helen Barbazon’s Pleasant Acres Stallions of Morriston, Fla., stood 12 stallions in 2021 and is continuing to add to its roster for 2022. The farm will introduce multiple graded stakes winner Leinster and Bellavia, and the roster also will be joined by Never No More, who is moving down from Winding Creek Farm in Maryland.
Leinster was the most accomplished of the three newcomers on the racetrack, winning four graded stakes. The son of the A.P. Indy stallion Majestic Warrior, Leinster took the Grade 3 Troy at Saratoga; the Grade 2 Shakertown and Grade 2 Woodford, both at Keeneland; and the Grade 3 Gulfstream Park Turf Sprint. A half-brother to Eclipse Award champion and two-time Breeders’ Cup Turf Sprint winner Stormy Liberal, Leinster was third in the 2020 edition of the Turf Sprint.
“Leinster is an exceptional addition to the stallion barn at Pleasant Acres Stallions,” Joe Barbazon said in a press release. “A world-class turf sprinter, he brings with him two blazing-fast track records in graded events and four triple-digit Beyers.”
Bellavia, a winner on the racetrack, is by the young stallion Honor Code, also a son of A.P. Indy. Bellavia is a half-brother to the dam of Breeders’ Cup Sprint winner and Eclipse Award champion Mitole and Grade 1 winner and Belmont Stakes runner-up Hot Rod Charlie.
The unraced No Never No More, by classic sire Scat Daddy, also is well-bred. His dam is a half-sister to the dam of Scat Daddy’s Group 1 winner No Nay Never, a breakout young sire in Europe. No Never No More’s oldest foals are yearlings.
