Luis Saez was aboard the winner for trainer George Weaver.
"Today, the ground was pretty soft, but she just came from behind and when I asked, she took off," Saez told publicity at Belmont
"I stayed outside because inside was a little bit softer."
Lead Guitar began her streak in August, with a second-level allowance win against New York-breds at Saratoga. She proceeded to win another allowance in September at Belmont before taking the Floral Park.
Lead Guitar is a daughter of Maclean’s Music who races for Jim and Susan Hill. She has now won 5 of 10 starts and the $44,000 first-place check from Saturday pushes her earnings to $235,678.
