Laurel postpones Sunday card due to weather from Isaias

Barbara D. Livingston Laurel and the Maryland Jockey Club’s network of off-track betting sites will remain open on Sunday.
Laurel Park will postpone its Sunday card due to inclement weather, with the remnants of hurricane Isaias expected to pass through the Mid-Atlantic region.
The storm, which first reached the United States as a Category 2 hurricane on Friday, will still bring winds and heavy rain by the time it reaches Maryland.
The track said it will run the postponed card without a redraw next Thursday, October 15.
Laurel and the Maryland Jockey Club’s network of off-track betting sites will remain open on Sunday.
