Final Form is the fastest female on the grounds at Lone Star Park based on Beyer Speed Figures, and she’ll be in action at the track Monday.

Final Form is bidding for her second straight win at the meet in the featured seventh race, a second-level allowance for fillies and mares at six furlongs. The field of eight includes stakes winners Kasserine Pass and Trixie Racer and recent allowance winner True Castle.

Final Form exits a 6 1/2-length win in a first-level allowance June 3 at Lone Star. She covered 5 1/2 furlongs in 1:03.80, and the Beyer of 90 that she earned is the top number put up by a filly or mare at the meet through Friday.

“She did it effortlessly,” said J.R. Caldwell, who trains Final Form. “She just ran away with it.”

The second-highest Beyer for a female at the Lone Star meet is an 82 earned by both Always Inthe Munny and Elle’s Town.

Final Form is a 5-year-old mare by Point of Entry whom Keene Thoroughbreds claimed for $20,000 in April at Oaklawn. Caldwell said part of her appeal was that she was still eligible for a first-level allowance.

“If you run in an a-other-than and win, you get $20,000,” he said of the purse structure at Lone Star. “You could pay for her in one start.”

She earned $20,800 on June 3.

Final Form figures to be prominent Monday. Ivan Arellano has the mount from post 3.

“She doesn’t have to have the lead,” Caldwell said. “She’s so quick, a lot of times she inherits the lead.”

The chief threats appear to be Nomizar and True Castle.

Caldwell will attempt to double up on the card, as he sends out Quick Quick Quick in an optional $30,000 claiming race for fillies and mares at five furlongs on the turf. It goes as the finale on the nine-race card.

Quick Quick Quick recently began racing on turf and finished second and fourth in turf sprints at Fair Grounds. In one of those races, she earned a career-high Beyer of 86.

“This will be my first start with her,” Caldwell said. “She fired a big race at Fair Grounds on the turf, and it looks like it might be her deal. She’s been working really well. She’s sharp. I expect a good race out of her.”

Iram Diego has the mount from post 6.

The chief threat could be Elle’s Town, who cuts back to one turn after capturing a first-level allowance at a mile. She owns the field’s best last-race Beyer.

The card also includes a first-level allowance for 3-year-olds and up on turf, and the probable favorite is Tigerbeach.

Karl Broberg trains both Elle’s Town and Tigerbeach.
