Last Dragoness makes it two straight with Lassie triumph

Last Dragoness remained undefeated in two starts when she rallied from off the pace to win the $40,000 CTBA Lassie on Saturday at Arapahoe Park. She was a length and a quarter winner over Emma’s Dilemma.
The six-furlong Lassie was restricted to 2-year-old fillies bred in Colorado.
Last Dragoness ($7.80) stalked the pace and went on to cover the distance on a fast track in 1:13.35. Alfredo Triana Jr., was aboard for trainer John Hammes.
A daughter of Smoke Glacken, Last Dragoness races for Hilltop Stable. Earlier in the meet she won a maiden special-weight over male rivals June 19 at Arapahoe.
